Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This chalet is superb. This is our second visit and each time we’ve filled the chalet to the max with a large group of family and friends. This cosy and tastefully restored farm house has plenty of space for all to enjoy the facilities and relax without getting on top of each other and nothing is too much trouble for the chalet host. Cleanliness, service and cuisine are faultless.

It’s the perfect location for a mountain holiday as it sits in open pasture high above the village of Les Gets (often above the clouds) and offers amazing views of the surrounding mountain ranges yet it’s just a short chauffeured ride to the village centre.

We’d like to keep it our secret but Oli and Allen deserve success in this venture so tell your friends how marvellous it is!

Just returned from a great week with Allen and the Above All Team. Literally couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was a fantastic week with great level of service but not intrusive or over the top in any way.

The food was excellent and really tasty - just like top drawer home cooking! There was always a discussion about what we ate and Allen was happy to drift from his menu as and how the guests want it to flow.

The hot tub gets one of the best views in the alps and the chalet is really above all others in terms of location. The chalet sits at the highest Chalet point on the Mont Chéry side of the resort.

In a way it pains me to write this review as I don’t want the secret to get out but on the other hand it’s deserving a strong review. From Oli’s back office support to the delivery from Allen, it cannot be faulted. Well done lads! See you again soon!

What a fantastic week in Les Gets in a warm, welcoming and very comfortable chalet. Allen, Carima and Ollie went out of their way to make sure we were superbly looked after. Nothing was too much trouble and every service provided was undertaken with genuine enthusiasm.
Meals were delicious, healthy, tasty and just the right portion sizes. Allen was entirely flexible and catered to the tastes of the group.
The chalet was really lovely, spacious, comfortable and real home from home. As others have said already, the views are some of the best in the Alps and the hottub is lovely for an apres ski soak with a cold beer.
Skiing back to the chalet is possible in the right conditions if you are a half decent off piste skier, but you need to know the way! Don't take the risk otherwise.
My daughter and I had a truly fabulous week, everything was just as you hope a ski chalet holiday should be. Lovely chalet, warm and welcoming hosts, great company, lots of skiing, lots of laughter! Perfect.

Just finishing a week at Chalet Samasta, the chalet itself is beautiful and a brilliant space for families or groups. Everything was clean and had everything we’d need. The fire in the living/dining room was a great mix of being either wood burner or fully open fire. The chalet is set high on mt Chery so the views across Les Gets towards Avoriaz are incredible. Arth is really helpful and flexible with transport to and from Les Gets centre which really helps to get to either ski school or your choice of lifts, Perriers being the best bet to get up the mountain as quick as possible. Food has been amazing and Arth has catered for everyone’s needs and wants to a really high standard.

Amazing Chalet with beautiful views!! Stayed here for 6 nights and it was amazing. Allen (the host) was so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble to him. He drove us around for the week, taking us to and from the slopes and into bars / restaurants at night which was great and so much handier than sorting taxis (as we didn’t’ bring a car and the chalet is a 5 minute drive from Les Gets). We had Allen in to cook for us for 2 nights, booked via ‘Fresh’ and the food was unbelievable, we went for Asian night and a bbq, both were great :)
The chalet was clean, tidy and warm when we arrived.
Allen sorted us out with our first food shop as well which again was much appreciated.
Allen also put us in contact with his friend who sorted our ski hire and ski equipment hire which left our trip hassle free.
The chalet has an amazing hot tub which overlooks the alps, it was the best bit about the chalet for me. Chalet also has an amazing fire.
Would recommend staying here to anyone.

Myself and two friends stayed and the chalet for a week in early January.
The chalet is a great size and the view is something else. The chalet is clean and well presented.
Allen was our host and really couldn’t do enough to ensure we had the perfect week.
Allen is a very good chef and the menu for the week was varied, balanced and all freshly cooked.
The chalet is a relaxing space to enjoy. The log fire and Hot Tub are really nice features and all the bedrooms are a great size.
The views from this chalet are amazing.
I highly recommend this place.
Friends, Food, Skiing & Wine....
Thanks Allen for putting this all together for us and creating the perfect week.

We stayed as group of 10, this chalet and host Alan were perfect for our trip. The chalet is spacious and warm with the outside decking and hot tub also being used a lot before and after our days skiing. Alan's food was great and we're were always full after the evening meals. He was also very flexible with giving lifts and offering to pick up shopping etc. I would stay here again for a group holiday!

As good as it gets. Great, great chef. Super space. Outdoor hot tub overlooking the mountains. Morning yoga watching the sun come up (if that’s your thing). Fridges full of beer. Warming, user friendly and beautiful open fire. Most of all, the best people. Super welcoming, chilled but on it. Special. A proper escape in the mountains.

Big love to Arthur and Ollie. X

Stayed with a group of friends, 14 of us in total. Arthur did a fantastic job of cooking for the group, and every meal had 3 fantastic courses. Chalet was nice, but being a long walk from the lifts meant it was important to plan trips to and from the town. Fortunately we drove so had our own cars but, this is definitely a consideration.
