Hotel Chalet Mounier receives high marks for its warm atmosphere, comfortable rooms with stunning views, and spotless cleanliness, as guests have repeatedly lauded these aspects. While the hotel's location is popular for its convenience to ski facilities and scenic mountain vistas, opinions on value are split, with some appreciating the culinary offerings and others criticizing the pricing. The amenities, including the spa and pools, are frequently celebrated, though the service has seen occasional lapses, particularly in the spa and with dietary needs. Some travelers also mention the rooms are a tad small with limited storage.

he best hotel in Les 2 alpes! A truly top hotel with very friendly and trained staff, breakfasts and dinners were real culinary experiences! Ski passes can be purchased directly at the hotel, transportation to the ski resort is organized with a free hotel van, which is always available. The ski slopes are wide, very nice and good maintained, but it is fortunate that the ski resort is quite high and the temperatures are also more suitable for excellent skiing. On vacation, we had sunny weather and no wind all week, so the memories of the vacation are even better!

Congratulations, first of all, to the people: from the reception to the room service, from the room staff to the duo of the bar (the touch a little "scoundrel" of the place), passing by the men and women of the shadows who, in the kitchen, work wonders, not forgetting the boss couple, all and all show an authentic friendliness and are at the small care. A very nice team, friendly and dynamic! Then, the setting: no detail is neglected, the materials and decoration are neat and harmonious, the rooms comfortable and spacious, the equipment to the height. We feel that the maintenance and upgrade are permanent and well thought out. Top-notch catering is a master asset. Finally, the location, south of the resort, is peaceful, but remains close to amenities: parking, ski rental and small shops a 1 minute walk, chairlift "Devil" 5 minutes (allows to warm up, and access, via blue or green track, to the main gondola - shuttle offered by the hotel in case of woman, we have never used it). As for the resort, the high point of the slopes guarantees quality snow, magnificent views, and lengths of slopes conducive to fun and progression. I know well 4 stars that would pale in front of those of chalet Mounier. Founding forefathers can rest in peace: the history they inaugurated continues to be written and reinvented with talent.

Me and my partner were staying at a different hotel…. After a few days on the slopes we were hoping for a relaxing evening at Chalet Mounier which offered swimming pool and sauna amenities.

So we book for a 20minute massage with the promise of an hour long indoor and outdoor swimming pool and sauna experience prior to the massage…

To start with we were greeted warmly and the hotel itself was very beautiful and left a great instant impression.Until we were taken to the swimming pool via the restaurant which was a little strange at first. We were then taken down to the swimming pool and sauna area and given robes, towels, and slippers included in the fee. From this point we were left alone….
There was no outdoor pool in this area, just the indoor and two saunas. We were never shown the outdoor pool or told how to get there. The massage was not very punctual.
After the masseuse arrived we were told to gather all of our belongings, and whilst in our robes, and towels we had to go upstairs back through the restaurant in to the massage room. This felt very awkward….
Finally the massage was weak and was definitely not worth so much. It felt more like a stroke rather than massage.I requested for an upper body massage, but attention to arms was not given also no one asked how strong we wanted the massage.
After the massage we were told to take a shower, but there were no hair driers after, or changing rooms so I had to go with wet hair back to our hotel as I did not realise they wouldn’t provide this.

In general, I think the plan of the retreat should be better specified to the client so they know what they are doing.Perhaps if we were to stay at this hotel the experience may have been less awkward but for someone coming from the outside it did not leave a great impression and we were very disappointed and expected more.

Our advice is to not go here for this kind of service or just make sure to specify and ask every detail as the staff I think expect you to guess and know things.
Also, we expressed were were disappointed about not being shown the outdoor pool and a manager said she would see what she can do and will come back after the massage but she never came back.

I was able to enjoy the spa of the hotel chalet Mounier as well as a 20min massage session under the expert hands of Léonie during my stay in the 2 Alps. And that was WAHOU 🤩 From the reception and visit you feel pampered. The spa facilities (hammam, indoor and outdoor pools, and sauna) are of satisfactory size and very well maintained. The setting is beautiful, and the little touches make this passage more than pleasant. I highly recommend the Spa and treatments.

The hotel is beautiful, the bar area has small areas to relax in with games to play. It’s the most Christmassy place.
The rooms are small, they are comfortable but you don’t have a lot of space to put your clothes and in our room using the shower flooded the floor. It’s a great location you can walk to the Diablo and also all the bars in town. The staff are very friendly.
The food on half board is cordon bleu and not necessarily what you need after the day skiing. We adjusted our menu every night and the kitchen struggled with delivering vegetarian food and avoiding nuts,
Overall, we had a wonderful holiday as a family in a romantic and small hotel.

My husband and I really enjoyed our week at the hotel. We were generally satisfied with our room and the service, especially the service in the restaurant. I am very grateful that changes could be made to the fixed dinner menu, as I do not consume meat. On some days we would have liked the room to have been a little warmer. We had a problem with booking a table in the Le p'tit Polyte restaurant for one evening, which unfortunately was not resolved in our favor. The reception promised to make up for it with free aperitifs at dinner, but unfortunately this did not happen - they probably forgot, so we had to pay for everything ourselves

Have just returned from an amazing week at Chalet Mounier. This hotel is amazing, one of the best we have ever stayed in. We are a family of 4 with 2 grown up children. The rooms are lovely with very comfy beds, plenty of storage, a powerful shower and so clean and well looked after with lots of character. All the staff are helpful and extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our evenings in the bar were so much fun with Frankie tempting us with cocktails and regaling us with his stories and information about the town and events. Breakfast was relaxed and delicious. The ski and boot room was easily accessible and the walk to the Diable lift very quick with the wonderful staff always on hand to drive us to or pick us up from the Jandri lift. must also mention the fitness centre, pool and jacuzzi - so well looked after and a lovely place to relax after a day skiing. Thank you so much to everyone at Chalet Mounier, you made our holiday. We will be back!

A very nice establishment where there is a warm atmosphere.
An authentic decor that plunges you into the heart of the mountain for a unique moment of escape!
It's simple, we enjoyed everything!
The room and its cozy beds, quiet, hearty and varied breakfasts so as to take strength before going skiing.
Sunday tea with its pastries to fall on the ground and especially the blank which is a real "nuts".
The SPA area where it is good to relax after a sports day, the gym and its various machines very nice to exercise on days when the weather is not nice.
Half board is a pure moment of gastronomy and refinement with a different menu each evening, congratulations to the chef! A treat every moment!
Don't want to walk to the gondola, a little shuttle bus and we drop you off at the foot of the slopes. Special mention to our "drivers" available at discretion.
All the staff, very professional, are very caring, all in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere!
THANK YOU to the Chalet Mounier team for taking care of us during our stay which will remain in our memories.

I can only recommend Chalet Mounier! The experience is exceptional in every respect. The services are worthy of a hotel of this standing and justify the prices charged (which obviously are of a certain level also).

Half board is really the level of a very good gourmet restaurant, the staff is very professional but at the same time friendly and laid back. The interior and exterior of the building are extremely warm, everything is decorated and thought with taste. Without ostentation but with delicacy. The garden is beautiful, but when it is covered in a thick white coat, you touch the sublime.

This is a place of high standing but with a soul!
And as an added bonus, it is even possible to enjoy it without having to break your bank account, as people outside the hotel can have a drink at the bar, or book a table at the restaurant of the chalet or the little Polyte (the starred restaurant), or even enjoy a massage and access to the spa.
