The hotel is cheap so do not expect any frills. We did not see a member of staff until we checked out on the last day. Reception never seemed to be open and we collected out key from a safe in reception due arriving late after a delayed flight. We were snowboarding from 8AM - 5PM every day and everything...

The apartment I booked was sold as suitable for 6 people, the photographs were very cleverly taken to give the false impression of space and cleanliness. There were 4 of us and it was so cramped I had to move to other accommodation. The apartment was dirty, damp and needed TOTAL re-decoration and refurbishment. The 'kitchen' units, crockery and cutlery...

We paid about £20 per night for our apartment and therefore came with low expectations; I was still disappointed! The room was supposed to cater for four; there were only two of us and it was tight fitting bags and clothes. Everything felt dirty and, as it's the responsibility of each user to do the clean on the way out,...

Probably OK if you have no demands at all. Probably renovated in the eighties. Avoid if you can afford something else. Badly cleaned. Gross wall to wall carpets, probably from the eighties too. There was old snore on the wall. A lot of dust on the chairs, on the ventilation, under the beds, etc, etc. It smelled of old moist...

Great location, close to ski lifts and city centre. Room was very small as for 4 people, with a tiny shower. Room was clean, beds were a total disaster - our room was in fact great for a couple, not for a family 2+2. Paid WIFI service was unfortunately at the same speed as the basic access.

On walking into the accommodation we were all thinking this can't be right. It's was just grim. 1) When we asked for another room through the rep. (actually an Admin person she said) we were told 400 euros each extra. The apartments were very quiet so it's not like they were short of space. 2) Two power points for six...

Just returned from a weeks skiing in Alpe d'Huez, French Alps. This was our 4th time staying at this residence. The rooms are typical for a French skiing holiday, slightly small but very adequate, extremely well maintained and exceptionally clean and warm. The staff were very friendly and spoke English perfectly. They are located about a 100 metre walk to...

“Store as much as you can upstairs in the spacious mezzanine. Pust the double bed right against the wall, otherwise you can't walk round it without bashing a leg. To get there, follow signs to Quartier passereux, not to L'Eclose. Do all your food/drink shopping before you get to resort, eg. Carrefour on outskirts of Grenoble.”
