We stayed here for 2 nights when visiting our son who was working a ski season in nearby Meribel. Budget hotel, set in the heart of a very pretty village at the bottom of the mountains. Good value for money, room had everything that was needed and was spacious, we could just see that mountains from our room. Parking was...

Great value way to access the skiing in the 3Valleys. At this price the rooms are obviously fairly basic but clean, comfy bed and good ensuite - what more do you need? Short walk to free parking and the gondola that starts at 8:30am (i.e. it gets you to the Meribel lifts for 9am opening!). I found the staff very...

Quick over night stop here before heading up to Meribel. Staff accommodated our 30 min late arrival (cut off is 9:30pm). Rooms clean but very basic. We had a family room with a double and bunk beds. Top bunk has no safety rail. This is the same in other rooms as we had 2 other families with us, so be...

Good location. Easy access to hotel. Close (about 300m) to cable car to Meribel. This is the best way to get to slopes. Comfortable and relatively quick (about 30 minutes). Room itself was small and very basic, but clean and comfortable for single person. Breakfasts also acceptable for it's price 8EUR

Arrived to a very rude French men who ignored us for the first 20 minutes of our arrival- his French regular guests in the bar were more important then his hotel guests. He didn't speak any English which proved quite hard for a family with very limited o level standard conversational French. We had two rooms for our family, one...

We stayed here for a long weekend skiing. Excellent location for the gondola lift into the centre of Meribel. The rooms were basic but clean and warm. We were particularly impressed with the staffs helpfulness when we weren't able to return our skis and boots to the shop due to closing for a long lunch. They kindly held onto them...

If you are looking to ski in Meribel on a budget, staying at Brides-les-Bain and saving about a third of the cost of accommodation is a good option. The cost of the 25 minute gondola ride to Meribel is included in the price of your ski pass and is a pleasant way to travel there. The only disadvantage is that...
