Wonderful hotel! Loved the location in the old town. Our room overlooked the street, and you could hear the fountain. Magical. We added a night. They worked really hard to mark sure we didn't have to switch rooms.

Well kept place with a lot of tradition and historic character, well looked after by the owners. You feel the the spirit of ancient times in comfort and calm, and get good opportunities to stroll around in the medieval city, nearby the town of Vaison-la-Romaine and its roman world heritage. Must see.

Our family of 5 stayed here (2 rooms: a triple and a double) during a trip through Provence. Nathalie who welcomed us was wonderfully nice and quick to help. Our rooms were perfectly clean, the beds very comfortable, and the linens were of good quality. Each room was uniquely and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very good, plentiful and continental: ham,...

Hostellerie le Beffroi is situated in the heart of the medieval old town, which is not full of shops and boutiques (like other medieval villages in Provence) and is instead quiet and calm. To our astonishment, we were able to drive right up through the narrow streets and park immediately in front of the hotel, which was a boon since...

We loved our two day stay here which I used as a starting point for my cycling ascent of Mont Ventoux. The people here were very accommodating and friendly. They gave us a beautiful room with a nice tub (essential after a big bike ride) that overlooked the street. The dinner at their restaurant was typical regional cuisine and we...

Owner is the receptionist/manager so he keeps the facility in tip-top condition. Clean rooms, comfy beds, wonderful history. Breakfast was delicious, location great. Everyone was very helpful and the gardens are lovely.

Hotel is in a cool 500 year old building in the old part of Vaison la Romaine. Nice large room, beautiful garden with great views. Nice pool, too. There is free parking but it is limited. Breakfast room was nice but breakfast was fair at best and not worth the 12 euro charge. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant...

This hotel was arranged for us by our tour company, and we would return in a heartbeat. Our room was in a building just up the street from the one that held the office, restaurant, and probably other rooms, and there were numerous steps and stairs up and down -- that was not a problem for us, but could be...

The building was built in 1525. The stone stairs are not for drunks, and you need to be in good shape just to walk up and down from ground level to the hotel entrance. The rooms are decent; the baths are newer, the rooms old, the major bad is no a/c. However, the rooms were comfortable. The hotel pool is...

Unfortunately we only had one night in Vaison la Romaine but so happy we took Trip Advisor and Rick Steves' advice to stay at Beffroi. We started by driving the wrong way up the narrow cobbled streets but fortunately reached the hotel uneventfully and were able to park in their lot and were greeted by their very friendly and English...
