Marlon and Robin together with their team run a great business here. The attention to detail is excellent, food is made fresh from locally sourced products, rooms are spacious. There is a great room to safely store bikes and Robin was invaluable help in setting up bikes and so forth. We were easily able to cycle to Alpes D'huez, Col...

Brilliant stay, great welcome, nothing was too much trouble, felt at home from the moment we arrived. Robin and his team could not do enough for us. Food was excellent, served promptly and with a smile. Rooms were cosy, well fitted out and very comfortable... Do I have to go back to Ireland????

We stayed in an apartment which the hotel owns nearby. (It's about 150 metres along the road.) The rooms were well serviced with the amenities you are likely to require - e.g. cooker, fridge, TV, radio etc. A washing machine and drier are also available downstairs. It was quiet during our stay and away from the bars.

We have stayed at the Hotel Auberge Edelweiss several times over the years. It is always a pleasure. The food is also very good and the staff very friendly and helpful. For a special occasion in warm weather, ask for the "honeymoon table" for two under the tree with a magnificent view of the glacier. We have been coming to...

Recently stayed at Edelweiss for a cycling trip. Facilities for bikes, rooms and general setting were excellent. View from the terrace is incredible. Food was excellent throughout. An especially nice treat were the plates of snacks put out for you on your return from a hard day in the saddle. Overall an excellent place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate...

As a long-time, repeat guest at the Edelweiss, I can easily say that my experience at the hotel has been consistently positive -- most recently for an extended visit in March/April. Owners Robin and Marlon are welcoming and do everything possible to make for a great stay, including an eagerness to share their deep knowledge of the region. The rest...
