clean , in a central location, with parking, good wi fi, nice breakfast, charming staff--and a very interesting town in the centre of the Somme.A fascinating World War 1 museum. Good stop over to or from the channel ports.

Clean and basic, very good value. Breakfast was OK, no other meals offered. Only criticism is that when we arrived (pre-booked) at 2130, the Hotel was dark and locked. We had to ring a mobile phone number to speak to the receptionist who attended promptly and was very helpful. Although it looks uninviting from the outside, it is modern and...

We arrived by coach and judging by the appearance of the place, we knew it wouldn't be pleasant and we were right. The rooms were very cramped and outside looked like a prison. The food was poor also, one of the meals was fish, the fish was so oily you could cook chips on it. At breakfast we had bread...

When we arrived here after just over an 18 hour journey on a cramped bus we were told our rooms were not ready, we had to go to our first activity with no clean clothes, just what we had on when we left our school at 7o'clock the night before. Everyone was unhappy because we all felt disgusting after the...

Our group really enjoyed their 2 night stay at auberge des remparts. The rooms were clean and the location was perfect to start exploring the Somme battlefields. Breakfast and diner were great and the students particularly enjoyed the "ficelle Picarde". Staff were friendly and the manager helped me assist one of our students who was sick. She also recommended an...

On arrival we were due to check in at 11am, although we were late on arrival we were told that our rooms would not be ready until 5pm!! This meant the entire group of over 40 was unable to go for showers or even change clothing after a 18 hour journey before going out to first activity. The same night...

We stayed at this hotel during a school trip to France. We stayed there for 3 nights in total and I can say each night had its different issue or problem. On the first night we arrived to find messy rooms filled with bugs and cobwebs. Wifi was only working 10% of the time and the showers were very cold...

Had to make own beds on arrival. Staff very unpleasant. Food was poor and got treated unfairly due to a slight bit of mess to the extent that the manager made the decision and told the cleaners not to clean our room. Wifi only works 50% of the time. Would never recommend another person to stay in this hotel as...

I stayed here for one night as part of a school tour. Romms were clean and spacious, good bathroom and excellent food! Not far from historical places of interest. Staff were friendly and cheerful. I would recommend this place for larger groups and family stays :)
