A great 4 night stay at the lovely Moulin de Binard. The owners are very welcoming and the evening meals are wonderful. The location is excellent and the donkeys, sheep, geese, peacocks and chickens add to the charm of the place. The owner plans for future Gite accommodation that looks tremendous.

Highly recommended, very homely and welcoming. A great based for visiting various sites across the Somme region. Your hosts will ensure you have the very best stay. Rooms are tidy and having the use of a common area and a shared kitchen are\ comes in very useful

We stayed 5 nights with Jacqueline and Joel whilst visiting the Somme battlefields' 100-year anniversary. Our room was clean, comfortable and very homely, Jacqueline's homemade preserves at breakfast were fantastic and her evening meals are excellent. Not only do you get a 3-course meal but a homemade aperitif, wine and coffee all for 27 euros per person. The accommodation is well...

This was a wonderful 3 night stay whilst we were at Somme100. The owners were fantastic and our room was clean and comfortable. The lady of the house makes some of the best preserves which she shares at the breakfast table with guests. Ideally situated to visit the various battle sites and graves of WW1 and the interesting museum in...

Moulin de Binard is a great base for exploring the Somme region. It's in an idyllic rural setting, but peace and quiet is not guaranteed. During our one-night visit, someone chose to ride a very noisy motorbike repeatedly up and down the road outside at bedtime and the hosts' menagerie of donkeys, goats and chickens woke us early with an...

We thank you for your stay and you enjoyed our homemade jams. We are sorry if anyone was noisy with his motorbike at your bed time. We are surprised by the bad smell you felt in the shower room: the shower rooms are thoroughly cleaned after each departure of guests and disinfected. May be because the weather was sultry ?...

Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere from Joelle & Jacqueline. Peace and quiet and beautiful countryside location. Only 5mins drive from Peronne. Clean, characterful and spacious room with en-suite with towels and lots of hot water. We didn't have the evening meal but it looked delicious. Substantial continental breakfast of breads, croissants, eggs, cheese, yogurt, fruit juice, tea/coffee, and will even provide...

We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the green, leafy surroundings. Jacqueline and Joel were lovely hosts, happy to chat and share stories. Our room (Coquelicots) was great - spacious, nice views, wi-fi, clean en suite. Brekky was good and we particularly enjoyed poaching fresh eggs in the microwave. The other guests provided good company at breakfast and at other...

We came for a long weekend and had a great time. Touristically, the region is very focused on the Great War (tours, cemeteries, memorials, ...) but the scenery is great as well: fields, pastures, the Somme that meanders through and occasionally a forest. Although the Table D'Hote was delicious, nearby Peronne has many options to eat out as well. Breakfast...

We stayed four nights in the separate cottage at the entrance to the typical French barnyard/courtyard. Apparently it was originally built as the lunch-house for the chicory workers on the farm, and is now a very nice large bedroom with its own modern bathroom. We had one of Jacqueline's wonderful dinners one night, and could have eaten there every night!...

Book your stay this minute! Believe us – this is an experience in itself and was a fantastic part of our trip this fall - more than a place to hang your hat! Jacqueline and Joel are gracious hosts, the grounds are beautiful - with creatures on site, including a donkey and his very protective friend (a goose!) – and...
