Having messed up a reservation in another hotel, my wife and I had to find a room for the night and unfortunatley for us walked into La Sole Meunière in search of accommodation. The restaurant looked nice as did the reception area and they had a room available so we paid up front and took it. So, up three flights...

For one night it's fine you get what you pay for , the beds clean & the location is perfect There's a a large free car park opposite that's safe to leave the car on over night . It really could do with being decorated in the hall ways and stair ways

The hotel is conveniently located at the end of one of the main streets of the city centre and provides the option of renting an enclosed garage for 10 euros per night. This is very handy when your car is overloaded and you do not want to leave it tempting any passers by on the open car park opposite the...

My wife and I stayed here for one night during August 2015. We chose it due to it's location which was excellent. Unfortunately we cannot say the same about the hotel. It is dated and quite tired in places. The property does not have a lift and the lowest rooms are on the first floor. Due to it's location it...

When we arrived at the Hotel, we were advised that we were not booked into this hotel but were expected at a sister hotel down the road, but was advised that no person was on reception there but we could stay there at same price. We requested whereabouts of there covered parking and was told to park over the road...

What an amazing place in an otherwise downmarket town. We had lunch here on our way to the tunnel home. Although it was Sunday and the restaurant was busy we were warmly greeted and promptly shown to our table. The food was superb(we had fois gras followed by sole) good wine and great friendly service. It is a MUST for...

The restaurant was fantastic. We had the 30 euro menu which was divine! However if I have to rate the hotel, I would say that the rooms were perfectly adequate but the noise from the street left us unable to sleep. The bars opposite partied until 3am and it was exhausting. However this might just happen at weekends. Thought the...

We also stayed in room 22, no balcony, decor terrible. We stayed for one night only, we were out most of the evening so just slept there for one night but to our shock we were told that people had been complaining about the noise our children made. Actually what the noise was was the slamming of the doors, which...

Only an overnight stop so used the 'if I don't like it I wont go back' approach. Good location for ferry and trains and great eating locally. Budget accommodation so not expecting much but the room was very clean and pillows and beds are good. The windows let in a lot of noise so be careful if you are a...
