I arrived at 2pm, and saw that the hotel wouldn’t be open until 3, I had a problem I had my motorbike gear on and at 27C that’s a bit sweaty. Luckily the manager saw me and let me enter the garage, so after a nice lunch I could check in. Decent size room and bathroom, all clean and good wifi. This is an old building so you can hear the floorboards etc., but I slept well enough. Good breakfast Hotel is right in the city center, good location and well worth the price

It was good choice in Rodez. It is located in the middle of city and walkable to my work place. The room was clean and all correct, and the staffs were kind. The price is good and when you look at the price and the quality of room, I find very good value for money. It is in the old fashon building so door looked old but the room interior is quite modern and easy to use. As a business traveller I forcus on a good desk and working wifi which were good. The bed was also comfortable. There was no tea an coffee maker in a room and It was basic, but good basic.

Hotel du Midi is a typical example of France's decaying hotel industry. Underinvested, no service mentality at all. Hotel du Midi in Rodez has a splendid location with views of the towns extraordinary 12th century cathedral. A gothic marvel built over 300 years. For an acceptable price I got a small room with a tiny bathroom. Bed, bed linens and towels were OK. The carpet, the trash basket in the bathroom were something I would not tolerate in my home. Walls and doors paper-thin so I was treated to my neighbors bathroom exercises in live stereo audio. In the room no information whatsoever on facilities, internet or TV channels. To give you an idea of the service mentality: the wifi kept dropping out every few minutes. Confronted with that the lady at the front desk pointed to ma deficient computer, then to the internet service provider and then relented to recycle the router, saying that she didn't know anything about IT and couldn't do anything about it.. It worked fine after that. Not a place I would recommend.

SERVICE Hotel offers a very good service. The director is very nice and always interested in helping guests with everything they need. The rest of the staff is also very helpful and welcoming. What I really like is that they give you a code to enter if you go out at night. FOOD Not only do they serve a delicious breakfast but also a good dinner for a reasonable price. The breakfast is very good with a wide range of pastries, fruit, joghurt and more food. LOCATION The hotel is located in the city centre. In front of the cathedral and the old quarter.

It was a freezing cold day - around minus 6 degrees C and we were glad that we had decided to break our journey. The hotel staff were very welcoming and our room whilst simple was beautifully warm and nicely decorated and for €50.40 was a real bargain. After a brisk walk around the centre of Rodez we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant and this was another god decision. I chose the 19€ menu and Lynne the €26 menu. We were both very pleased with our choices. The food was nicely presented and tasty - not haute cuisine but good quality traditional cooking. On checking out the next morning after having a good breakfast I was amazed to discover that our bill was so reasonable. There is no other way to describe the amount we were charged for our room, two evening meals with aperros, wine and coffees - a grand total of €139.90 and that included €5 for secure parking!!

Hotel du Midi is located in the heart of Rodez just across the square from the Cathedral and close to other sites of historical interest and all major shops. The hotel reception is extremely welcoming and helpful, and the rooms were quiet, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The surprise is the restaurant which has an outstanding menu and, again, very friendly and helpful staff. Overall, the hotel is well above its rating and represents excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Very enjoyable one-night stay in this hotel. Excellent location for all the sights, clean room, friendly staff and excellent value for money. I can't comment on the parking facilities as we came by train.

A city centre hotel. Very welcoming and a decent room. They kept a disabled parking spot for us. Restaurant was quite busy and service good. Food was only average but it does not claim to be a gourmet experience. Would use again.

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the Amphitheatre - about a 7 minute walk with luggage. I originally booked a twin room, but then had to add a third person which turned out to be no problem as we had already been allocated a triple room. Access to the hotel is via a code on the front door after 21.30. Wifi was reliable and included in the room. We were on the first floor to the rear of the hotel - not a great view, but very quiet. The view wasn't important to us as we arrived late and left mid morning. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom. The shower was powerful and the water was hot. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and happy to help. The breakfast really was excellent with a choice of pastries, baguettes, wholemeal sliced bread plus a toaster, choice of orange or apple juice, selection of teas, coffee, hot and cold milk, cereals, yoghurt, ham, cold boiled eggs, cheese. There was a choice of around 8 different "Bonne Maman" jams.
