The hotel is positioned at the top of a very quiet road in the town.Upon arrival it does give a welcoming feel. The layout of the hotel is nice, with a lovely outside terrace for breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately that's where the good stops and the average starts! I've never in my life been in such a dark and pokey bedroom......so...

I am delighted that you appreciated the garden terrace, and the cuisnie of our Chef Laurent CROS. However i do find your remarks about your room rather harsh and totally exaggerated, some people prefer to be in the garden rooms and some like yourself prefer to be in the main building, all you had to do was ask at the...

We booked the hotel for its location and the atmosphere the information on its website provided. We found the hotel easily enough, well sign posted, even in the dark. We were warmly welcomed. The entrance provided the atmosphere and the room we were shown fully supported it. We found all the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and...

I had an enjoyable short break here and without exception the staff were extremely helpfull, friendly and attentive. It was a great hub to explore the region from and even in October managed to use their clean, heated outdoor swimming pool and sit in the late afternoon sun. The buffet breakfasts were delicious and the one dinner I had there...

My husband and I stayed at La Magnaneraie last week and very much enjoyed it. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and went out of their way to answer any questions we had.
