Breakfast experience was poor. Always stuff missing. There’s always no bread or only frozen, you can’t expect a simple baguette to be available, seems too much. Madeleine were from the super market (Seen the refill) Croissant were from the day before. Some days orange juice from super market. Staff helpful as long as you don’t complain. As soon as you ask for more bread or complain about it being frozen, you get the worst, they start looking for small details and looking for trouble with you. Very annoying and not professional. Restaurant was closed when advertised open. Everything is closed in winter The only good things were the decoration of the room and bed comfort. The overall feeling was, you’re not welcome, we’re just recycling whatever is left from the summer season on you until we close our hotel..very very frustrating and annoying experience. The booking was via verychic.com and we complained to them, so far they did nothing. Planning to follow up with verychic.com and more as this was not what we bought (what was described)…
The room (2 adults & 3 kids at the age of 9 months, 3 & 5) was very small. It smelled very bad even after having had the windows open for hours. Some things in the bathroom and the kitchen should be fixed as they are broken. The tables in the restaurant (breakfast) were very dirty and obviously not cleaned for a long time. In general it was pretty dirty in the water park, especially in the locker-room. Used diapers, toilet paper etc. were lying around, distusting! Then we had to purchase extra swim pants for the boys and my husband as the wide ones were not allowed. When we asked why, we were told that in case one would pee, it would end in the water.. --> still not getting why this should not be the case with the other ones?? So, additional EUR 15/piece had to be paid.. Dinner costs EUR 44/adult, kids under 6 pay only for beverages. So definitively too much! In general, this hotel is very expensive.. TOO expensive and NOT what we expect from a 4 star hotel! Absolutely disappointed!…
Over all, I would say 4 stars for the facilities, 2 star for the service which I’ve summed up as an average 3. The water park is great and the rooms as well. The food is also good. But the service is terrible. The people are nice, don’t get me wrong. But you wait 15 minutes for 2 ice creams, 15 minutes for 2 paninis... waiters have good intentions but it feels like everything is so disorganized... It’s certainly not worth 450€ a night.
This is our second visit to this hotel, the kids love it. The water park is superb and can be accessed an hour earlier and an hour later than the public. Drinks and food are very good and reasonably priced. The rooms are all very nice and come complete with cooker, microwave etc so cooking isn’t a problem. Location is good and it’s around a 10 minute walk to the beach. The beach is excellent for young children
This hotel has a huge water park, great rooms, great breakfast, great service, youthis was one of my personal favorite trips because our room had a jucusi a hammock I definitely recommend this place..
The water park is nice but it is overcrowded by nonresidents , they should have a limited number of admissions , the rooms were under our expectations, it was on our way from Cannes to Barcelona and it was a short stay , but I will not do it again in August, i did not understand and accept their rule of bathing shorts for men , it is different than any other water park or swimming pool around the world , they made us buy their own acceptable shorts which are tight and very short
Fabulous stay Amazing welcome , met at our car , luggage taken to our room and we chuckled that they had even put our bag of salad rocket in the fridge. That is service . Absolutely amazing boucanier suite - just awesome and the attention to detail and our requests was just out this world Fabulous vip area at the water park and we had an amazing couple of days there - lovely staff at vip area . Only negative as previously stated is that there is a Serious let down from the restaurant side No welcome or explanation at breakfast The egg /omelette chef only appeared to pack up and therefore no one ordered from there ( maybe what is what he wanted ) We appeared for the 4:/5 pm free pancakes for the kids but again no chef anywhere to be seen Apart from that everythimg is superb We will definately return We loved the suite , some beautiful touches , crystal glasses , nespresso maker , mini bar Hottub is just amazing Rooms are fabulous and sooo clean Loved all the little touches n treasure in the floor etc Thank u x…
We have just returned from an amazing 6 night break here with our 2 sons (aged 5 and 2). By coming here in June with our pre-schoolers we happily avoided the mid-season crowds and also received an offer of 15 per cent discount plus free breakfasts by booking direct with the hotel. The breakfast buffet had a varied selection of very high quality produce which the whole family enjoyed. The decoration throughout the hotel and waterpark is incredible. You really could not ask for more from the pirate theme. It felt like being on a film set. We stayed in the bouccaniers suite which had separate bedrooms for the kids plus an outdoor area comprising bbq, sunbed lounger, hammock and jacuzzi. The aquapark is just a walk through from the reception. It opens before and after public hours for guests and has a vip section with large sunbeds and lockers, which I imagine would be even more useful during the peak season. The service generally at the hotel was also great. We will certainly return!…
I have no proper words to describe my amazing experience at Cap Pirate. Before coming I did not know this pirate concept and I was impatient to discover it. It’s a kind of chock I’ve got in my head when I passed the door. This environment is clearly breath taking: it’s so realistic with so much pirate details, INCREDIBLE !!!!! I’ve been traveling so often in top range places like this, and I would say this one is the best place I stayed till now. We’ve got the best services (huge suite in paradise) and delighted staff higher than expected for a luxury 5 stars hotel. If you are looking for a luxury place to stay, this place is the best one in the region. I also recommend the restaurant O Pirata which offer very yummy and fresh food for a really good price!
Loved this place. It was over the top with pirate theme, the room was truly amazing! Go for a suite if you can, but the water park is great, staff was so pleasant! Be aware the French have odd rules on swimsuits, the standard Board shorts that I’ve worn for 30+ years are not allowed, have to get swim shorts, but luckily they sell them for like 15 Euros. Overall just a great experience.
