It is immaculately clean. There is free parking for 2 cars directly outside. The problem with this hotel was its 4-star rating which led us to expect the usual amenities for this class of hotel. This hotel is minimalist in style with a feeling of high-class student accommodation. There is a recreation area downstairs providing tea/coffee/wine for which one is required to record consumption on a clipboard. I have never encountered this in a 4-star hotel. Our room 888 is in the attic and there is no lift which should be mentioned in the description. It was difficult for my husband to climb the stairs. The receptionist very kindly carried our bags for us. The room is sparse and disappointing. No carpeting, no refrigerator, no bath, no kettle. An open clothes rack with hangers. Bedside lighting consisted of two extremely bright suspended bulbs by each side of the bed. The safe is in the bottom of a narrow cupboard and is not attached to anything. We had to get down on our hands and knees to access it. We requested the provision of a kettle (there is a coffee-making machine) and needed a certain amount of persuasion to be provided with one. It actually belonged to the receptionist who insisted we "take good care of it". The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. This is a perfectly adequate and clean overnight stay but my major criticism is that its 4-star rating and pricing would lead one to expect more than is actually provided.

This amazingly renovated mansion runs by a lovely family. They are experts about guest satisfaction. They made all kind of arrangements for us during our stay. They made our holiday an unforgettable one. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room was so spacious and comfy. We loved this hotel and we will be back with more friends next year.

We visited this delightful hotel back in December when the world was normal. We were on the way to Mallorca with our two dogs. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. We’d like to go there to explore Béziers at leisure instead of the flying visit it was. We were late arriving but nothing was too much trouble for the owner and his delightful dog. The hotel itself is gorgeous, decorated with many interesting works of art. I love the style of mixing old with modern. Our bedroom was vast, beautifully restored antique wooden floors, huge windows and shutters. The bathroom was glorious and modern too - everything you’d need. We had to dash off in the morning so we didn’t manage breakfast, but it looked good. The garden and pool looked wonderful too. A real gem of a hotel.

We booked this hotel based on the nice reviews. We arrived to a very run down hotel. The hotel smelled of mildew and possible mold... In the front of the hotel, they were doing road work with asphalt. The owner said that the construction was going on for two months. They never disclosed it to us. The fumes in the hotel was unbearable... I had an asthma attack due to the fumes in the hotel and we made arrangements to leave early morning . The owner only cares about the money. They charged us for two night, even though we stayed for only one night. Total scam of a place. The sheets and towels smell of mildew and very rough. Stay away. There are beautiful places in the area not this one. It is also a 20 minute walk to nice part of town/center. Location is not great. Next to a noisy apartments Terrible, terrible! The pictures on their site are modified and not accurate.

Being a client does not give you all the rights. Who do you take for? Your text is full of lies and bad faith. Indeed the road was under construction, but the asphalt began after your departure !! My hôtel was full and no one thought or remarked. Besides, even your spouse did not show up ... As for your inventions about the dilapidated hotel, the remoteness of the city or the fake photos, shame on you to write such things. Certificate of excellence at tripadvisor for 3 years on 365 reviews! You must feel a little alone with yours. Future readers will appreciate PG
