Kind and generous Bruno made us very welcome despite three large parties being held on a Saturday lunchtime during our stay The old house has been tastefully refurbished and is littered with some wonderful art from a local painter called Elisabeth Baysset. Some of her work is just stunning Our room was cleverly subdivided to include a large en suite...

We last stayed here in July 2009 when we reported that Le Clos was excellent. That is no longer the case. It was then run by Bruno and Irwin. Irwin is now no longer involved in the day-to-day running of the establishment. The swimming pool adjacent to the main building has been covered in and is now a covered corporate...

The building is beautiful. The decor is individual and interesting. The room was very large and the bathroom excellent. The garden and pool area beautiful. However, the high spot was still the dining. Really excellent cooking and great wines to accompany. The service too was really friendly without being over the top. Highly recommended. Only slight criticism - they really...

Wonderful but short stay with Bruno and Irwin and their team, we turned up with our guest without a confirmed reservation (My fault) but were accomodated and recieved without a fuss. Great food, great reception, great accomodation. Super to see the team and bumble the great Dane again and the new addition who's name escapes me.

The only complaint we had was our rooms were not cleaned every day--but maybe this is just the custom here. The food was excellent and we were the only couple staying in the hotel. When we arrived the owner had a glass of wine with us for about an hour, then had his chef prepare a meal just for us....

This is a beautiful location, embellished with a sometimes a little bit kitschy taste. A highlight is the cuisine: the best sweetbread in a long time, for dessert a warm apricot tart of flawlessly superb quality. After taking our orders the headwaiter disappeared and left the field to a completely inexperienced, uninterested adolescent whom we had to trace well hidden...

This was an one day trip to relax and rest. The welcome was good but not exeptional; I had to drag the information from the person that weclomed me (who otherwise was very nice and polite) My room on the ground floor was spacious and had the iron bars on the window but it did not really bothered me (I...

We received and warm welcome and great hospitality during our week long stay. The proprietors and their team were unintrusive but always on hand and happy to help. Our room was large and overlooked the lovely walled garden and pool. It was simply furnished had a good double bed. TV (French. Only) and DVD player (DVD,s available) and had a...

With two nights prebooked at EUR120 per night we did not expect the following example of bad hotelkeeping: On our second day we returned to the hotel at 16:45 to relax and enjoy a drink in the garden and pool area. However as we were going upstairs to our room we were told that because of an imminent ministerial visit...
