We booked into Les Brions on a cycle trip in Burgundy. This appeared to be a mistake at first as it was a long climb up to the plateau from the Canal but the work was well worth it. Really interesting old building which is comfortable as it is and the owners have plans to keep on improving. We arrived...

We recently had a pleasant stay at Les Brions. As others have noted, it is difficult to find, especially at night, so I would recommend familiarizing yourself with the location before you start your trip. The house and the couple who run it are very nice. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The only things that bothered us were in the...

Spent three nights Septmber 2014, difficult to find, set GPS to "Tonnerre" then "Les Brions". This finally worked and we found the place delightful. Large comfortable room and bath with a unique swivel lavatory. Eric and Veronique were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed dinner with our local friends in the dining room one night with great food, wine included,...

Les Brions was easy to book and communication with Eric was fluent. Place itself was a bit hard to find and we found it with very good luck. Signs could be more visible. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. Our room (Henri II) was large and furnished "old style". Many things still need some work, but our room was...

Many thanks for this advice. In fact "Les Brions" remains a bit difficult to find. We would have the courage to start the 6 months effort against the administration to get official signaletic panels. For the table cloth, however we use usualy a better material for dinner, we still use plastic for the breakfast ... for "washing" reasons !!! I...

A lovely find, booked as a 1 night before a burgundy canal trip, welcoming hosts, authentic , well prepared and served food. Don't expect a shiny Paris boutique experience, just enjoy, quite unique. We spent the late afternoon visiting the Fosse water source in Tonnerre before dinner, a great start to the holiday.

We we're actually booked into a hotel in chablis, when we arrived they mixed up our booking. We found les Brions pamphlet at the tourist information and lucky for us they had a room! The house is absolutely lovely! Furnished with the most amazing antiques. Our room was spacious and beautiful. The house has a lot of character. The hosts...

We first stayed here in 2009 and have been back a few times since. We have seen all of the bedrooms (apart from a couple which have been renovated since we were last there) and each one is superb. What makes this bed and breakfast so much fun is that it is full of originalities like the different decoration in...

It took us a while to find more so as we arrived early evening...signs are needed more so as it is in a lane. It would be nice to be offered a drink upon arrival as this we have encountered at other places we visited. Our room was rather basic and so minimalist; a nice bed a lovely wardrobe couple...

We had problems finding this B&B outside Tonnerre, as it was not in our navigation system. But when we finally arrived we were shown our nice big room with period furniture and an open fire place. The bathroom had a funny washbasin which you had to empty by turining the tub - it must have been nearly 100 years old....
