The hotel is perfectly located overlooking the river and extremely convenient for the town centre where there are lots of good quality shops. On the opposite side of the river there are several good restaurants. Regarding the hotel itself, our room (32) was on the small side but had excellent decor and was very clean. It also overlooked the river....

This is a small pretty nice hotel in a good location. Good restaurants nearby. A bit difficult to find parking outside. Breakfast very ordinary. Small rooms but clean and nice. Friendly staff that spoke some english.

Great experience staying at this hotel. Owners were very friendly and welcoming with Madame particularly happy to chat, despite my halting French. The room was smallish but very comfortable with lovely ensuite shower, high quality tv and excellent free wi-fi. It was in a good location with a fine view over the river. There was some traffic noise at night...

A very friendly welcome from the knowledgeable reception. Parking in the busy road outside was easy (on a Friday evening) and safe. The hotel has its own bay for (un)loading. Our room on the 4th floor facing the road and river with view of the wonderful bridge was quiet with triple glazing. It had recently been refurbished, small (as all...

A little concerned as we pulled up owing to on-street parking the proprietor was adamant that there would be no problem and was proven right. Madame owner was quite charming and her rooms and decor reflected her personality and were equally tasteful. The en-suite was lovely with a double shower cubicle and we had a lovely river view with triple-glazing...

We arrived at the hotel and despite no car park, due to its central location, there was street parking (both short term metered and long term free) to be found along the quayside.  We received a very friendly welcome and entered the tiny lift to our third floor room. Really modern tiled bathroom with walk in shower and fluffy towels,...

The hotel faces the river and is on a main road but we got a good nights sleep and heard no traffic. Parking is available on the road outside the hotel at minimal prices. We got a friendly welcome from the owners and paid €65 for the night. Our room was 30 reached by the elevator and looked out to...

Totally agree with Scott from Sussex below. All perfect, clean and stylish, simple breakfast, great location, all very clean, fantastic hosts. Perfect stop over on Macon and we parked right outside. We ate at a lovely restaurant over the river at saint Laurent and the food was excellent. Did not do any shopping in the little lanes behind hotel but...

My wife and I stayed here en route to Provence. Walking along past the front of the hotel your initial impression might be to wonder whether the reviews were of a different hotel but once inside you realise that the owners have put a huge amount of care into their hotel. The hotel is on the bank of the Saone...
