We stayed 2 separate nights on our way to and from the South of France. This is such a beautiful place and Dominique and Philipe are such welcoming and charming hosts. We had an enormous bedroom with en-suite bathroom (Tourterelle), all tastefully decorated, with large comfortable bed. Dominique is a great cook and we had two brilliant dinners with wine...

We stayed for 1 night, driving to the south of France. Booking was straightforward, and Dominique was easy to deal with by email - she speaks perfect English. The accommodation itself is very nice - a standalone house, with 2 bedrooms, easily accommodated our family of 5. Dominique was a generous and welcoming host and we were given a tour...

This B&B is even more beautiful in real life than in the pictures. We stayed for four nights with our dog, Mack, on our way down to the South of France and enjoyed it so much we stayed again on our way back up. Dominique gave us great advice on what to see/do/eat during our stay which meant we went...

We stayed for three nights in Alouette and had a wonderful time. As other reviewers mention, it is every bit as good as the website photos look with the quiet courtyard, attractive rooms and rural setting with the pool over-looking the River Saone. Being late in the season, we were the only guests and the focus of Dominique's attention with...

I had more than a suspicion that Domaine de l'Oiseau would live up to our expectations from the great reviews it had already received, we were not disappointed. My partner and I had driven up from Fayence after having stayed at Le Moulin De La Camandoule another great place to stay which we thought would be the highlight of our...

From the moment the metal gates swung back we knew Domaine de L'Oiseau was a special place. The accomodation is beautifully finished, clean with fresh water and towels every day. Dominique made us feel completely at ease for the 3 days we stayed. We could not have asked for more. The sun shone so we made full use of the...

The pictures on the Sawdays website looked very inviting and the Domaine is certainly an idyllic house and grounds. The bird theme is everywhere, with little cages of stuffed birds in the rooms. The owners have an extensive wine cellar and encourage you to partake in wine-tasting with a view to buying some bottles. They are proud of being tastevins,...

“Tourterelle is overlooking the courtyard, I guess they are all extremely quiet. A huge room with good en-suite bathroom.”

“Alouette was perfect for a couple with generous lounge space, big bed, good walk in shower & Tourtorelle had twin beds next door with plenty of space, bathroom and perfect for our boys 12 & 15. We are sure the other rooms will be just as lovely.”
