Wendy and David are the perfect hosts at this delightful B&B, tucked away on a dead-end street, with a quiet garden where you can sit and listen to the birds. Oscar, their chocolate lab offers you a warm greeting when you return in the evening. This property is within easy walking distance of the old town which offers stunning architecture...

We recently stayed at Le Jardin and found it to be a great place to base ourselves in the Dordogne area. Wendy & David (& Oscar) are great hosts - very warm & welcoming with a wealth of knowledge on the, magnificent, surrounding area. So many beautiful places to discover. The accommodation was 'olde worldy' comfortable, like staying with relatives...

Our hosts ensured that our 5 day stay in Sarlat had a certain something extra. The lovely garden , what a bonus in a town centre where tourism is the name of the game. The pool for cooling off. The shaded terrace for drinks and socialising in the early evening. Meeting people from across the world and hearing about their...

A hidden gem of a guest house tucked away down a side street within easy walking distance of the centre of Sarlat. Difficult to find on first arrival so use your sat nav or follow the owner's directions carefully. Our attic rooms were petite but very reasonably priced (90 euros per night). The other two rooms on the first floor...

We have stayed with Wendy and David at Le Jardin in Sarlat six times now. We just keep returning. Not only is the home and garden wonderful, but the warmth and kindness of Wendy and David's welcome is something one should experience. Sarlat is one of France's most beautiful towns and the Dordogne supurb. A not to miss area of...

We stayed at Le Jardin for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only difficulty we had was finding the place as we didn't find the directions very helpful and a map would have come in useful. Wendy and David are extremely friendly and welcoming. Like other reviewers we enjoyed sitting on the veranda chatting to other guests. Whilst...

The entry is enchanting, as it is in a garden and rooms are entered from there. Quiet, comfortable, clean, loved the decor. Our hosts put much time into the decor with color and textures. She was helpful in places to dine and her breakfast room was like a museum with displayed art and objects of interest. We enjoyed our breakfast...

Recently back from a six-night stay at Le Jardin. What a perfect place from which to visit Sarlat and the surrounding region. The 200-year old house is charming, in the middle of a lovely garden oasis. Wendy and David have set aside the porch, a sitting room, a breakfast room, a terrace, and several areas in the garden for guest...

Wendy and David are a lovely couple and are keen for their visitors to feel at home in their home. Rooms are comfortable and there's a lovely veranda that's perfect for socialising with other guests or just chilling out on your own. Pool is very welcome on hot days. Highly recommended.

Our third visit to this wonderful B&B in Sarlat. Spent 6 wonderful nights in August. Wendy and David are great hosts, friendly, helpful, attentive, nothing is too much trouble for them. Lovely garden for relaxing and a pool for cooling off if it gets a little too hot. The B&B is a few minutes walk from the centre of Sarlat...
