small, but very cosy place to stay. very helpful owner, even in english. the lady who did the breakfast was very rude towards "not french speaker". kick her out, then it is the perfect place..... also nice pool. the City is definitly worth the effort of a 45 min drive off the main road

A great location 10 minutes walk from the busy centre of Sarlat. The hotel is in quiet spacious grounds with an outdoor pool and a lovely terrace. Parking is free. Great service at reception. Vey nice breakfast.

My wife and I took a road trip through France during October 2015. We took a Brittany Ferry to Bilbao and then drove into France, stopping initially in the Pyrenees and journeying on to the Dordogne and finally catching a ferry home from Ouistreham. The road trip was a combined gourmet experience and sightseeing trip. All the hotels we stayed...

In my 10 years of working in media and for newspapers I have stayed in hundreds if not thousands of hotels. But never have I encountered such a comical and yet terrifying sight when, at breakfast, my brother was presented with his fried egg, which was blacker than black. (Lady didn't know how to do scrambled so we settled for...

This hotel actually encompasses three buildings on a pretty uphill property with an outdoor pool near a cemetery. The dining room is very nice and welcoming. The rooms are sparsly decorated; even drab. The bed we had felt like there was a 2 x 4 running through the middle of the mattress, right about where your mid-back would lay. Television...

we like logis...each one has its own character and charm Our 3 night stay here was good...only spoilt by rain every evening which meant we couldn't walk into Sarlat. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful - they happily provided lock up for our bikes every night and managed to find alternatives on the half board menu when I...

As part of our tour, our guide uses this hotel in Sarlat. The hotel sits on top of a hill and lacks the easy access of hotels located in town. For travelers with limited mobility this could be a challenge. Our room was located in the back on a second floor, up a narrow stairway. Sarlat is a charming town that...

We stayed here at the end of July and booked via the Logis de France website. The house is an old mansion in its own grounds. The owner, Cecelia was most pleasant when I rang her to confirm our reservation and put up with my French even though she speaks very good English. She sent me a sample menu as...

We spent a night here on our way north, having last visited over 30 years ago. The hotel now has a nice pool, a much larger dining room and a number of rooms in outbuildings. Our room was one of these. Clean and comfortable with the added bonus of air conditioning and a balcony, all at a very reasonable price....

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights whilst on a short break to the Dordogne, the rooms were clean and comfortable with table and chairs outside. The owner was very good and nothing was too much trouble. The meals in the restaurant were excellent and varied.
