We stayed in the Sartra Suite are Manoir Petit Meysset for 10 days at the start of July 2015. The room is a good size, unique, very comfortable and has a kitchenette and dining area. It also has an air conditioner which was very welcome as it was exceptionally hot for the duration of our stay. We drove down from...

Charm of this house and grounds and pleasantness of owners by far outweighs a few negatives as - 1) it's pretty far from old town - at least 20 minute walk, some of it on a side of the road 2) It's located on the side of the motorway (separated by trees) - and you can hear the sounds of...

Graeme and I loved the experience of staying at Manoir Petit Meysset. Suzette and Tony were superb hosts, generous with their time and sharing their vast knowledge of the Dordogne with us. They were extremely helpful in recommending restaurants ( all fantastic) and sightseeing tips. Plus we loved Pluto and Louis hanging out with us on the terrace!! Thank you...

Absolutely wonderful sprawling cottage outside Sarlat, easy walking distance to old town. Friendly proprietor from Australia, a font of great info on area restaurants, sights and events. Artwork inside and out, beautiful grounds with places to sit and relax. Great breakfast, home made croissants to die for, amazingly cheap. Kitchen area to make your own lunch if you want, or...

Two Australian couples holidaying together. We booked the Manoir on the internet. The pictures are a true representation of the property and our stay was exceptional. The property owners/operators are warm, friendly and incredibly obliging. We had done some research prior to our arrival and had drawn up an itinerary for sights we wanted to see. Suzette provided us with...

Our 5 day stay was very comfortable and relaxed in peaceful surroundings. It was our first visit but we want to go back to see some more of the Dordogne. We stayed in the "Satre" room. Beautifully furnished and equipped. Suzette and Tony seem to have thought of everything you might need. Car parking is on site so once at...

My wife and I first came here in April 2013 and had such a nice time that we returned for another couple of nights in April of 2015. Suzette and Tony are some of the nicest people that you can meet and very welcoming. We had a wonderful big room on the ground floor and enjoyed the large comfortable bed...

We stayed at the Manor for three nights in October 2014. We were made to feel most welcome by the hosts, Suzette and Tony. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent and the beds comfortable. Suzette was very helpful in organising a dinner booking, which we appreciated after a long drive north. The guests' kitchen was well-equipped and...

Manoir Petit Meysset was perfect! We had a lovely spacious room, top-notch accommodations with beautiful furnishings. Our hostess, Suzette, was very friendly and helpful in suggesting excellent restaurants. The location was quite convenient, easy distance to the old town of Sarlat and to many nearby castles and bastides. We stayed 3 days and didn't get to see all we wanted,...

We stayed in the cottage on the property for four nights and enjoyed it very much. We had a dedicated parking place right next to our door. We also had a private terrace with a table and chairs which we enjoyed everyday to drink wonderful French wine. The apartment and furnishings were in great shape and it was quite comfortable....
