The photographer is obviously skilled! Didn't feel that things came up to expectations. Many, many steps from one area to another. Wonderful terrace, staff very friendly and helpful. The pool was rather off putting. It felt oppressive and dark not at all inviting. Rooms quite small but perfectly comfortable. Food was excellent. The surrounding area leaves a lot to be desired-...

This hotel is set in former commercial buildings from the early XXth century. It is surrounded by a lush garden. There is a pool strangely located below ground. The location is on a hill close to some beautiful Victorian villas. Parking is on the premises. Our twin beds room had a nice balcony. Good wifi. The bathroom lacked toiletries such...

I really enjoyed this hotel and would certainly recommend it to friends. The room was comfortable, soft linen, fluffy towels, nice balcony to relax and enjoy your book in the evenings, enough privacy from fellow guests to allow you to totally relax. We ate in the restaurant on the final night of our week long trip to both Bordeaux and...

This is a great hotel, with a good restaurant in a hill top location. The pool could be from a Bond movie. Loved it. Staff is friendly, helpful and unpretentious. The room was great with balcony and in summer an absolute delight. Great spa too with steam room. Hotel can make great last minute reservations in town and at the...

Had a spectacular five course meal two choices each course. A good way to spend New Year's Eve. Compliments to the chef and his team, he did us proud. Service very good. Good choice of wine. Good company. Cosy lounge. Easy parking. The building itself is stunning.

A well maintained hotel in a great location. The rooms are well appointed and of good quality. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is simple but excellent in quality whereas the dinner restaurant offers outstanding quality of cuisine with a well varied menu. On the downside, the receptionis not well manned/staffed and you need to find the employees if...

When Form is more important than content in a place which could be a real Gem! On the positive...Beautiful building, great deco On the negative...No concept of hospitality... Looks like this hotel is run by people who have no idea about service. Room in the "annexe" are shoe box size and charged at a premium rate. Dinner service very chaotic...

Let´s start with the positive: nice rooms, beautiful location and design. Restaurant is great for dinner. Negatives: - on arrival four of the staff was sitting outside the reception smoking/chatting. This occurred several times during the rest of our stay - not nice. - The staff is barely english speaking and we got little help with our bags - which...

The positives first: We enjoyed a very nice room on the top floor. The bathroom is nicely decorated with a lot of wood and mirrors , so you feel a bit like on a cruise ship (of the good sort). The balcony with 2 rocking chairs is a place where we spend a lot of time chilling. Nice garden and...
