This is an old style city centre hotel so has all the advantages of being very central. They had upgraded the bathroom which made the experience very positive. Lovely soft towels, big well lit mirror and a nice shower. Bike storage if you need.

This hotel is located in the town centre, perfect for walking access to restaurants, cafes & shops. We requested a quiet room (une chambre calme) and were given room 34 at the back. We guess this room has recently been renovated (and very nicely done) but still needed some finishing work (bedside lights not working, shower rail loose). There was...

This small hotel is in a great location.. Walking distance to railway station, hertz, supermarket, Boulanger, produce farmers market, town centre, great restaurants and Locaboat. The rooms are spotless, big and the bedding, linen, pillows and towels are of exceptionally high quality. The owner makes a fabulous coffee at breakfast.

Agen is far from being a wealthy town, and there are few hotels. This is definitely a low priced hotel, but the enthusiastic new(6 months) owner is doing his best.He was good enough to take our luggage to another hotel when he was unable to accommodate our hurriedly extended stay.He serves at breakfast every morning and runs across the road to the patisserie...

We enjoyed our comfort room which was clean, quiet and spacious. The staff were very helpful and friendly. An ideal overnight stop reasonably close to most amenities. Parking was not a problem. We'd stay again.

The owners of this place were very friendly and helpful, really pleasant. Our room was large, had good bed and air-con and it was quiet. Bathroom was OK but suffered a bit from ventilation. It's 10 minutes walk to the town center, but the (weekly?) marked is just around the corner. Breakfast was rather simple, but the jam they had...

Friendly welcome, decent sized en-suite bedroom, clean, quiet and really good value. What else can I say? Oh yes, everything worked including the free wi-fi; I had a good breakfast and I parked right outside the front door. The Parisian Owners have been there for 2 1/2 years and are very professional.

The hotel was centrally located to transport hubs. It was clean, roomy and comfortable with a good breakfast. The thing that most impressed us was the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Jean-Michel insisted on driving us and owur luggage to Locaboat and when we returned after our trip on the canals he drove us...

Without a doubt the highlight of our stay at the Hotel le Province was the welcome we received from the owner. He was extremely helpful and courteous, finding a place for our bicycles in the garage and directing us to the sights and places to eat. The next day we overheard him offering to give other guests a lift in...
