The teenage daughter wanted to stay in a small town or village in France; and, she found Eguisheim. Wow, a great choice! Then, she tracked down a place to stay, and she found Auberge du Rempart. Again, a great choice. Maybe she should plan our entire holiday from now on. Anyway, the family that operates Auberge du Rempart is very...

Located in the heart of the village, small but nice room with very confortable bed. Two issues: the owner is far from being friendly (a bit rude in fact) and it is very noisy. We were on the first floor and you could hear people in the dining room on the ground floor, or people walking in the hall and...

We were traveling with two small children and stayed very comfortably at Auberge du Rempart. Our family room was very spacious. After a delicious dinner in the court yard, we tour the quaint town and even found a bar to watch the European soccer championships! We finished by watching the game on the TV in our room. The buffet breakfast...

The Auberge du Rempart is located in the Centre of Eguisheim in the pedestrian zone. Although cars are banned (except for residents) there seems to be a relaxed attitude to rules and visitors are directed to park in an area within the pedestrian zone behind the tourist office. It's a short walk to the hotel from the car park. The...

We pitch upon this hotel by pure chance during visiting "the most beautiful villages in France"("Les plus beaux villages de France") during Easter vacations. And it charmed us by location and traditional Alsatian atmosphere.

Our 2nd stay here. Enjoyed it as much as the 1st time. Our room was great on the 2nd floor, very spacious and spotlessly clean. The owners are very nice and make you feel welcome. The hotel is situated in the beautiful town which is so pretty and quaint with little cobbled streets, town square, church, little shops, bars, restaurants...

This was the third time I stayed here. The two others were some years ago, but the auberge are still nice and well worth the cost (which is very reasonable). It's perfectly located, just at the beginning of the old village in Equisheim. Nice rooms, with what you need. Breakfast buffet is 9 euro/person. Nice friendly service. The wifi was...

We stayed in this lovely auberge for a few days, and found the room at the top a perfectly romantic crows nest. The owners are very helpful and will help even if language is a barrier. The breakfast is wonderful and great coffee will flow as long as you want it to. You will find yourself in the center of...

My wife and I spent two nights in the Auberge du Rempart last month. The hotel is a little quirky but that is part of its charm. Nice clean room and bathroom. Very quiet! Excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner! Great staff. Very highly recommend!

Very nice B&B for a short stay like ours. Breakfast can be added for a small cost and it is lovely to sit out in the courtyard. Free parking is just behind the tourist information in Eguisheim- we found it was always easy to get a space. Dinner was very tasty here too.
