Three day stay from 29th September. Weather was not very good on a couple of days which was a shame as we could not make best use of the pool. There was a very end of season feel about the place with facilities like the restaurant not being open in the evening and only limited service by the pool. The room was pleasant enough. I just wish that when they give you god team and coffee making facilities you would get a few milk capsules. The hotel is located between the main port area and the ferry terminal which has big ferries a couple of times a day which is no problem at all. There are many restaurants and bars nearby in the port area and many more in the Porto Vecchio old town up the hill. There is a little free electric bus service which follows a few routes and takes you into the town to save the walk uphill. There is a shortcut walk back down worth finding. We ordered a taxi back to Figari airport through the hotel on a Sunday afternoon and thought is was pretty expensive at €90 for a 25 min 22k drive. We had earlier in the trip stayed in Bonifacio which is very different to Porto Vecchio.…
Lovely hotel and even more lovely personnel: a young team working professionally and genuinely caring for customers. Adorable the two girls and the guys at the restaurant. Hotel is very clean and serve all possible family needs. Pool is wide and pool area is safely closed by high-gate entrance to avoid kids accidents. Nice the little bar/restaurant by the pool. Good food, changing menu almost daily based on fresh availabilities. Love the breakfast buffet with a lot of homemade products: from fresh smoothies to crepes and chocolate chips cookies. Our kids loved the self-preparing pancakes machine. Fresh squeezed orange juice was a big plus every morning. Would love to go back!
Hotel was very nice and even nicer was the Staff working there. I think they really made the difference in our overall experience. A Team of very young people very kind, professional and genuinely caring to help their customers. Also loved the breakfast with fresh juices and homemade food. The pool has a good size and a nice bar/restaurant next to it. Food is good there too and atmosphere very relaxed and pleasant. Rooms are very clean, large and the house-keeper lady is adorable. I would be happy to go back there!
Absolutely rubbish service! Reception gave me a key to enter an occupied room and then did not believe when I told them so. Instead of finding me another room, I had to wait until they went to go check the room to believe what I told them. And then faffed around again while the rest of my group were already enjoying their drinks by the pool. The hotel is not fully booked and they can’t just give me another room but rather make me wait. Not even a drink for service recovery. Would not recommend this place!
It's a good hotel for a short stay. Simple, comfortable, large pool, walkable to town. Breakfast has a good selection but was a bit chaotic during Covid times. Staff were clearly overwhelmed. Beautiful terrace to enjoy breakfast. Nice sea view from the room. Friendly staff. We booked quite last minute and found the price quite high for what it is - a solid 3-star hotel. Then again this is Corsica in July...it's a decent hotel just not one of our usual standards.
The hotel is new, very nice. Our room was with the pool view and I liked it better than with the sea view because it was so quite. I loved it there. We paid for breakfast, not cheap but convenient. Such hotel could easily be 4 stars. I am surprised it is just 3. Would definitely stay there again. Location is great as well.
This hotel is very nice well situated with a stunning view on the marina and with swimming pool the , the rooms are very spacious. Great staff, it’s really a beautiful hotel , very calm and the prices are reasonable.
The hotel facilities are far better than the usual standard for 3-star rating on mainland France. We had a beautiful sea view double room in early July. Positive: very, very clean; linen changed daily; excellent shower; useful fridge and security box. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Niggles: flimsy plastic beakers and throw-away cardboard beakers for tea/coffee. Negative: the pool area is fabulously equipped and spacious with ample sunbeds and parasols for the number of residents. Adjoining the pool is a small cafeteria/restaurant and signage describes it as an "area of relaxation." For the most part of the week it is. However, the cafeteria is available to the general public and so, for just the price of a sandwich, is the use of the pool. During the weekends of our stay, the area more resembled a hectic municipal swimming pool. There was a distinct lack of hotel staff available to control the anti-social behaviour of local teenage yobs. This aspect completely spoilt our final day's enjoyment and coloured our overall opinion.…
We stayed at the very comfortable hotel in a great position. Sea view room with a beautiful vista and nice breakfast All staff were helpful and attentive room was large and spacious Walking distance to all cafes and restaurants
This is a modern hotel a five minute walk from the port area. It’s very quiet as it overlooks the salt marsh and is a bit removed from the town noise. You wake up to the sound of birds and the sea. Heaven. Staff are very kindly. Not one unpleasant person. You feel that the hotel is well managed and employees are happy to work there and to serve. There is a huge pool with a wrap around wooden deck and a lot of sun loungers and a jacuzzi. There are even 30 minute free Taichi classes on Wed. and Fri. Morning. And you can organize a massage and hamman use at a discounted price. You get a beach towel to use for free from reception for your stay. If you want a fresh one every day you pay for that. Seems reasonable. WIFI is free but spotty and sometimes slow. Satellite cable TV. Rooms have a fridge and coffee makers and there is also an area downstairs where you can use a microwave, borrow an iron and use a vending machine. Rooms are very clean. Beds very comfy with the mattress just the right hardness. A 15 minute walk from a big supermarket. 10 minute walk from the bus “station”, 20 minute walk up to the old town. There are two five ships a ten minute walk from the hotel. A great base for southern Corsica.…
