The hotel itself requires a bit of care and attention. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The welcome you get and the attentive service from start to finish is second to none. The hotel is set up for golf societies but don't let that put you off. The golf course is in great shape, challenging in places and with some...

I stayed here with some friends for a weekend at silverstone. The room was offered at a good price (booked online via 3rd party) The hotel was down a long concrete track-- as expected for a golf course. Lovely area to drive down. On arrival the staff (1!) were friendly. Bar area was ok though fairly limited. good enough to...

Stayed on one night golf stay with 3 other golfers,. golf course was in reasonable condition and food ok, the beer and wine package at £89 is enticing . But this place needs serious investment - have stayed here about 3 times and the standards in the bedrooms are shocking. Paper thin walls, shower broken, Lino in bathroom and toilet...

This is a great place to stay and away from the crowds. The bar food was very good and sitting by a big log burner was nice. My room was clean and comfortable nice and warm with an extra bed covers if required. The only down side was that the walls are thin and you can hear the next rooms...

We had dinner followed by a round of golf the next day and the course was in great condition considering the amount of rain we had had the week before. Dinner was good and the staff are very friendly.

Firstly the staff are very helpful and efficient, food was very tasty. On the downside the drive needs a lot of attention before it damages a car suspension. The bar area has a water leak from outside, mouldy walls, stained carpet, a lot of work is needed here. The "pro shop" was well stocked/ plenty of buggies to rent. This...

I found the staff incredibly helpful in the booking and actually navigating my way there by train. The nearest train station on the Euston-Birmingham New Street line is Long Buckby which is in the middle of nowhere. There is no taxi rank so book a taxi in advance. Daventry cabs were good. My room was very comfortable and the English...

We had a golf break: 1 night DBB, 4 pints of beer or 1 bottle of beer and 2 rounds of golf. This was very good value for £89. The course was good but very challenging. The food was excellent. The room had all the basic facilities, though the wifi is very slow. The plumbing is very noisy as was...
