We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during a wedding nearby. The hotel is located on a hill that gives you a beautiful view over tuscany. When we arrived, the hoteldoor was closed and we had to search for 15 minutes to find someone who could check us in. I think the hotel was very popular in the past,... More

The villa is set on what can only be described as the most stunning location. Set on an outcrop the views are second to none! We sat on the terrace watching the sunset and the hotel manager couldn't have made us feel more welcome! Highly recommend a visit even for a fleeting drop in drink!

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding nearby in Sep 2014. The hotel offers all of the basic accommodations one could want although its furnishings and decor could be updated and modernized. It reminded me a bit of an old Howard Johnson's. The room was very clean though. The views are nice, it was quiet, and the breakfast buffet... More

Villa Tavolese is located in a very small town of Marcialla, but perfectly situated with in 30 minutes of many great Tuscan sites such as Florence, San Gimingnano, Volterra, Sienna, and the Chianti region with its many wonderful small towns. The price is about $100 per night including a breakfast of coffee, juices, rolls and coissants, fruit, cold cuts, cereals,... More

I had my wedding at the villa and I can't say enough good things about Tavolese. I planned a wedding from very far away and that comes with a lot of stress but when I got there the villa, the scenery and the location were everything I'd hoped they would be and more. And the staff, Fernando was helpful every... More

I have to admit that I was a bit nervous having read some recent reviews before we left, but the hotel must have read them, too, because the place was very good! I guess we were lucky that the young lady with glasses and long hair was working while we were there...she could not have been nicer and more accommodating.... More

The Hotel is in the middle of Siena and Florence, Lucca, S.Gimignano and Volterra. Perfect location and even with a beautiful view over the surroundings. But the quality is not worth the money. The service was the worst we ever had, the asian lady at the reception is so unfriendly, she just said no to every request we had and... More

Hi, we stayed for 5 night at Hotel Tavolesse, which is recorded for 4 stars when you book and pay but there you see that the hotel has only 3 stars. this is not very important aspect if you do not consider the dust from the rooms and the "hospitality" of the people. when we arrived there and complain about...
