We stayed one night in that hotel. I expected the “usual” best western 4* standards...I had a big disappointment. Air condition: - very old and noisy - no remote control for the a/c every time you want to change the temperature/intensity etc we had to call the reception for it! It’s very tiring...specially at 4am at night when you got tired of the noise of the a/c! Location: - even though I read in the reviews that the rooms which face to the train tracks are noisy. Well, it’s not true...you can hear the train in any of the rooms (even with closed windows) Breakfast: -really poor: only pre-packed sweet cookies are available Rooms: - needs to be renovated, they look old, specially the bathrooms (I checked more rooms to see if I could get something better...actually all rooms are the same, except the floor: they are either carpet or parquet) 4* hotel?! Well, I would hardly give them even a 3*... …
Well this hotel is a little out of the way, but we enjoyed our stay here as part of an EasyJet holiday. The rooms are kept quite clean and most service in the place is done with a smile. Generally the staff are just pleasant and helpful. At least while we were there they ran a complimentary shuttle bus to get us to either the town centre or the railway station. Much quicker that catching the local public transport if you did not arrive by car. To be fair, there really is not a lot near by the hotel other than a railway line (with no station), however the hotel appears to have all the facilities on site that you are generally likely to need. It is just over 1/2 mile to the bus stop for public transport. Breakfast was very cheap but is just a poorish continetal buffet, which would be great if I likes cakes etc (I don't). Great value for money and a comfortable stay.…
My stay was a long weekend, a lovely relaxing getaway after Christmas. This hotel is easy to get to via a short transfer from and to the airport, available free if you book with the hotel between 8am and 12 noon. A taxi back to the airport was €20. Upon arrival the hotel seems in the middle of nowhere and a bit dated. The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you want tea making facilities in your room ask at reception. The food was nice but limited menu and breakfast is a cold continental style one. The bar was quiet during our stay but good for an aperol spritz or two. We couldn’t eat in the restaurant one night due to a private party which we weren’t told about. May be best to ask at the bar if you wish to eat in the restaurant as we asked reception and they said we could eat there. We felt a bit rushed back to our rooms this night before the party made their way back to the bar. After speaking to reception we discovered the hotel is a short walk (5-10mins) to lugagnano where you can catch a bus to Verona. The journey takes 30 mins and cost about €5.60 for two people. The bus is every hour there and return with the last bus from Verona being 7.30pm. Taxi was available outside the arena costing about €25 if you wanted to stay out in the evening. Trains to lake Garda are easy to find and we got cheap tickets for the day. The journey was 15 mins to the first stop (Peschiera) and another 10 mins to the second stop (desenzano). Peschiera was nice and quiet where desenzano was lively for the evening. Verona and lake Garda are very beautiful scenic places. I enjoyed my stay and on the last night we went into lugagnano which is a very quiet village and found a pizza place to eat at which was very nice. This hotel is ideal for overnight stays to/from the airport. Please note there is a railway line behind the hotel. …
Read reviews and seemed ok. Got a very good deal and came. Very clean rooms staff excellent very attentive too. Shariff lovely and very sincere. Shuttle bus ^free^ from hotel to Verona excellent and staff explained how to get late bus back which was 7.30pm or you pay taxi rates which appear dearer than a night in the hotel. Would return but we felt not much open around to have a drink and food. Ate at hotel once when landed fine but limited menu so would be bored. Tasted fine and reasonable priced and would recommend consideration to it. Staff also spoke good english which was very helpful!
