This is a very charming hotel, very different from the standard Holiday Inn-style places we usually find. The owners were very friendly even though our Italian is very limited. Everything was clean and our room had everything we needed. We were given a large breakfast including some homemade breads! If you want to feel like you are the guests of...

I stayed at Giotto park hotel from the 14th to the 16th of June. The pictures don't do it justice and it is a lovely place to stay albeit a little out of the way if you plan on spending a lot of time in central Florence (Firenze). The rooms are comfortable with charmingly traditional italian decor. However when I...

The hotel staff was very helpful to make our stay better and provided us with tips on where to go. Even though, the view from the hotel is beautiful, the drive up to the hotel could be challenging for non-European drivers. However, given the cost of the hotel, it is well worth it.

The hotel is a grand old building with large rooms and high ceilings, set in large gardens and therefore peaceful. Fittings (eg in the bathroom) were all modern and the whole place was spotlessly clean. It is family run and everyone was friendly and helpful even though their English was limited and our Italian is non-existent. There's a useful collection...

My daughter & I stayed here in March/April 2013, and both the hotel and the surrounding scenery are beautiful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Everything worked perfectly (tv, shower, lights,...). The host speaks English well and was incredibly helpful in getting us to and around Florence, Pisa, and Cinque Terre. If you have a car, this is only...

My husband and I stayed here during MotoGP Mugello 2012. The place is lovely and quiet. The hotel offers ample parking. The food is very good and quite a bargain. The proprietors Camillo and Claudia were so accommodating, helpful and pleasant. There's a small grocery, a pharmacy and a fruit store right across the street. We hiked up to Mont...
