This was the PERFECT place to stay for our first night in NZ. We arrived late, but Jan welcomed us in. She had already turned on the heater on the bed so it was warm when we arrived. Very comfortable, homey, bright, clean room with plenty of space, and a large private bathroom. The guest room is on the first...

From the moment we arrived Jan made us feel very welcome. She was very helpful and had thought of everything we might require. The location is perfect and very convenient. On the front lawn the views extend right along the coast. The sea views from our lounge/bedroom were amazing ranging from rough to tranquil seas. The queen bed was very...

An absolutly beautiful place, and great Base for some lovely surroundings. The shower is in the main house but you can access at any time. Host Jan was a treasure, and so accommodating, providing us with beach towels we forgot. You are able to swim below a two minute clamber down the rocks. Breakfast continental, but plenty of choices, cereals,...

Jan - the owner - is absolutely wonderful. She really cares about making sure that you really feel at home, and...

A wonderful Place to relax after a busy time snorkelling at Goat Island, visiting the Matakana market or simply walking home from the Sawmill Cafe. The self-contained and spacious rooms are light and private. The beds are soo comfortable. Jan has provided everything u could think of from wetsuits, and portacots to homemade jams, local photographic art and fresh coffee....
