I had a room on the first floor but with windows of stained glass allowing no view, which I found rather claustrophobic. I asked for a higher room at the back but was told the hotel was full, despite few people about and few cars out front. The fridge needed defrosting. No bathmat. Quiet, very good wifi. Mediocre breakfast.

This is a good base for day trips to Nizwa, Jibreen Castle and Fort; Misfat mountain village and nearby Wadis. When it comes to hotels in Bhala, you are not exactly spoilt for choice and this hotel (just outside town) is probably one of the better ones. Big clean room but very basic. No kettle in the room but free...

We spent two nights in the Jibreen Hotel and can highly recommend it. Clean spacious rooms with good quality beds and beddings and modern spotless bathrooms. The best wifi we had during the entire Oman trip. It is conveniently located between the Jibreen Castle (must see) and the Bahla town with its magnificent fort and amazing old town just bellow...

Booked a double room, got upgraded to suite. VERY spacious. Living room, kitchenette and large king bed - cost of 55$ per room (excluding breakfast as we wanted to just sleep for a few hours and leave before dawn) Close to Jibreen Castle, Bahla Fort, Hoota Caves, Jebel Shams and a great transit point if going from UAE to Central...

Large rooms filled with large ornate furniture. hard beds and chairs with very curved backs and squidgy seats so impossible to be comfortable. Rooms a bit basic but spotless . No hairdryer or tea tray. Wifi only in the cramped lobby which is no excuse as the Hotel is in the middle of a busy urban area.No BBC or CNN...

Due to a change of plans I ended up here for the night and was pleasantly surprised. Clean, good service, and all facilities working properly. Good menu in the restaurant and a tasty breakfast. The corridors are a little noisy at night, but that's a guest problem rather than the hotel. Plenty of parking, set back off the highway and...

Jibreen hotel offers a good base from where to explore the area (Bahla fort, Jibreen castle, Jebel Shams etc). We book a double room via booking.com and on arrival were upgraded to a suite on the 4th floor, consisting of bedroom, living room, a kitchenet and bathroom. The rooms were very clean, large and spacious with Arabic decor, the bed...

Easy to find hotel with plenty of parking on the outskirts of Bahla. The rooms and large and clean and have free internet. The breakfast is basic but has a range of hot food, cereals, fruit, bread, cheese, and vegetables. Evening meal served in the restaurant is a la carte and is mainly indian food (which was all very tasty)...
