Wonderful place to unwind for a couple of days. We booked a Lakeview cabin and that is exactly what we got. Cabin lovely and clean and the manager was extremely friendly and helpful. So peaceful and the bird life and walks around the lake are just what we needed to relax. Would recommend for a quite getaway for anyone.

The Lake Awoonga Caravan Park, although some 8 Km off the Bruce Highway (near Benaraby), provides a very peaceful and scenic holiday spot for caravans and cabins. Although the van slab sites are a bit old they are more than adequate, especially the powered sites. The birdlife and scenic lake views have drawn us to return again soon. The opportunities...

Camped for 4 nights. Had a Iovely time. Views of the lake from some campsites. Clean facilities , although basic. Friendly and helpful staff. Will stay again. Short drive down hill to lake and beautiful area , or a 5 min walk. Lots of walking tracks around the lake. Two separate kids areas at lake too (not at park)..

We had a lovely weekend staying at Lake Awoonga Caravan Park. The rooms are very clean and the managers were very friendly. It's in a great part of the world. We will be back to catch more fish. There was lots of birdlife and really wonderful weather. Facilities were very good and couldn't fault the staff in reception. Thank-you

My daughter and I recently stayed here for a week in a waterfront cabin and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tracey and Anthony are very friendly and were highly accommodating to any of our needs. So peaceful and definitely will be back.

Lovely relaxed campsite with wonderful views through the trees of the lake. Great little walks along the lake edge and you can throw a line in if you so wish. Amenities were always clean and firewood aplenty for your own personal fire pit. Originally stayed for the four night special but stayed on for another two as it was so...

I was invited to join friends from this area who have holidayed here before, so my first visit to Lake Awoonga. What a gem for Gladstone, a beautiful lake that has a great recreation area long the edge for boating and fishing. Our party had two boats so it was very much geared around skiing and the kids having fun...

Stayed there for the first time and loved the location and the Park. The new manager and his wife could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had three of the cabins for a week and no problems. Will definitely be going back.

We regularly stay here. Past tense. But new managers have no idea what they're doing. In all, we had 5 families stay with us over New Years. They charged us all a different rate for "Family cabin", plus charged us $10 extra p/child (gave us all a different age where that would be charged) So when you book, make sure...
