I stayed with friends for three nights. We received generous hospitality and service throughout. Highlights included a beautiful cruise on the Del Doura River, sunset views from the nearby hill, a stroll through the village and a visit to Salamanca. Well worth a visit for spacious rooms and great food.

A year ago we very much enjoyed this hotel, wondering whether it would be as good as the first time, we decided to give it another try to spend there a couple of nights. Usually a second time ends up with some disappointment, which made it even more challenging for us. However whole heartily we can confirm that we experienced...

One would never expect to find such a superb hotel tucked away in a hilltop village. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed. Vicente the patron is helpful and kind in his attention. The restaurant serves freshly cooked local food. For walkers there are a number of footpaths passing by. For a stop over on route through Spain it is...

I picked this hotel based on the reviews and price. It was far better than I could have hoped for. When we pulled up at the front on our motorbike the owner met us and and showed us to the basement garage where he let us keep the bike. While we checked in he got us a beer from the...

On our way from Salamanca to Toro we stopped for lunch at La Becera. The food was delicious, the restaurant is nice and the panoramic view is wonderful. I wish we had stayed for the night. The view from the rock next to the hotel is terrific.

La Becera has an ancient appropriate meaning: It is the venue where at night the animals gather to eat and drink. And apparently that happened too, years ago at this site. It is a superb venue for everyone interested in a change from the day-to-day preoccupation. The fabulous hospitality radiated by the owner-manager Vicente of this Hotel is worth your...

We really enjoyed our stay, we had dinner and the food was pretty good. I'm vegeterian and the accomodated to my needs. Great for a family stay. The staff is very kind. Ratio price/quality is excellent! It's ideal if you're travelling around the area of Salamanca and wish to stay away from the city center.

On our journeys from Gijon to Cadiz we found it well worthwhile to leave the A66 or N630 to visit this very pleasant hotel in a small community. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, the rooms comfortable and clean and the evening meal and breakfast were both tasty and more than enough. After an interval of one year we were...

Stayed here for one night on our way to Salamanca from the north. Very comfortable bed and room. Very reasonable prices. Good air conditioner to cool the room in the summer heat. Excellent service from the friendly host and his helper. Good restaurant. The evening meal we had there was delicious. Hotel sits up high so there are good views...
