Detailed Reviews
If you are looking for a quiet hide-away spot to escape from the noise of a city this hotel might seem like a perfect spot. The nature and mountains around a beautiful - perfect for hiking. But the hotel itself got stuck about 20 years in the past. The main building has restaurant that opens 8 am -9 am for breakfast and 6pm-8 pm for dinner. The atmosphere is nice but the food not so much. You have to pick one of 3 choices the moment you check in - for the next 3-4 days ahead. The choice is very limited. The only drink served with breakfast is sweet tea. There are no yogurts, cereal or fruits with the breakfast. I did not take a chance with the dinner but seeing the options on the menu it was again very limited.
And now about the huts - first of all on most of the booking sites they advertise a veranda with outdoor furniture. Only half of the huts have it. The "kitchen area" has no water, no sink, no cutlery, no way of cooking anything. Just a cattle to boil water. The fridge fits about 5 yogurts and we found a dead spider inside. Over all the inside of the huts is VERY basic. The 5 beds take most of the space. A larger coffee table with 5 chairs that barely fit under it takes the rest. There was ONE about 30 in wide closet - with hangers only, no shelving at all. So pretty much no space to put your stuff.
The mattress in the bed is quite new but the pillows and blankets remember the Soviet Union. So do the sheets...that you have to put on yourself. There are no towels in the bathroom. The shower is not bad but the boiler with hot water has enough water for 2 people. We had no hooks to even hang the towels we brought with us.
The most outrageous part is that the rules of the hotel are that before you leave, you are required to take off the sheets you used, sweep and wash the floors and wash the bathroom.
There is a small kids playground at the bottom of the hill but the equipment is very run down and falling apart.
Overall, it is a very very basic accommodation screaming for update to 21st century. The owners are older and run it the same way for years and years. At some point they hired a really good marketing agency so the pictures and descriptions advertised and on all websites look waaaaaay better than reality.

Naprosto zadna flexibilita, vstricnost, komunikace.

Klidné místo, rodinný a vstřícný přístup.
