We went just after New Years, an hour from Chiang Mai as two couples. We took the regular room, and our other couple took the villa by the river. It was peak season in chaingmai city, but here it was surprisingly quiet. It was also very cool ... dropping to about 10 deg in the evenings. Generally, the best time... More

If you’re looking for total relaxation and place to get away from busy city life, sibsan resort is wonderful hideaway. Hotel service is equivalent to five stars and bed rooms are well furnished, pool view or river view rooms are very peaceful. The resort is right next to Elephant Park where you can book elephant or OX riding experience. At... More

This hotel is very unknown and secret, amazing for any type of getaway!! I was surprised by this resort, beautiful property and amazing location. Far from the messy city and with spectacular views of the gardens, pools and elephants constantly passing by the water river! What a beautiful hotel to stay if you wish a calm peaceful holiday! Spent 3nights here. It was quiet and peaceful with fresh air compared to the city. Surrounded with elephants and ox too! But as it's off the Mae Taeng main town, there's very limited dining places. We ended up spending every lunch and dinner at the hotel one and only restaurant. Good news is that the restaurant and the coffee house... More

If you are looking for a near five star resort with natural water featured surroundings in your own unit for less than $60 USD per night. This is your place. I found an off-season rate for the beginning of October on Asia Rooms for 4,000B or $110 for two nights minimum. On top of that, if you've never visited a... More

This place probably has the worst marketing department in the entire industry. What a dream yet still unknown and mostly empty. hotel has two locations, one in CM city and this one. go for this one. Wont regret the trip. nothing much except a commercial elephant farm outside. you don't come to this resort to go outside.

This place was recommended from my friend who went there not long ago. It is isolated but I'm so glad we went there and got a chance to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! We stayed here for 2 nights and chiang mai town center for 2 nights. Now that I'm in chiang mai, I'm so glad we stayed there... More

We only had one night here, would have liked to have had time to be able to explore the complex. So brief comment, the rooms are individual buildings, beautifully clean with a spacious and luxurious bathroom. The staff were very pleasant, breakfast very acceptable, but this is an isolated site, great if you are looking for some peace and quiet.

This hotel/resort is about an hour outside of Chiang Mai and is sold as a quiet place to get away from the city. The first thing we noticed is just how remote it is… there are a few outdoors activities and attractions here, but otherwise you are limited to just the hotel property. If you go stir crazy at all,... More
