The chateau is a wonderful touring base for the Burgundy region. Within a 30 min, drive from Dijon or Beaune, it's also just a few miles from several top-rated restaurants and a number of sites you'll want to visit, like the beautiful medieval village of Chateaneuf. I'd highly recommend making lunch reservations at some of the well-known nearby restaurants, so... More

Stayed one night and my only critcism would be that the window of our room (at the top of the château) was small and high up in the ceiling, therefore inaccessible and did not allow us to appreciate and view the beautiful gardens. The room itself was very spacious, beds comfortable, shower fine with good towels. Breakfast was served in... More

We stayed here during a cooking and wine tour. The gardens were certainly very impressive and apparently they are subsidised by the government to keep them looking good. The chateau itself is a beautiful typical French chateau. Rooms feature ensuites but are much bigger than you would expect. Facilities are good but not extensive. There is a small restaurant nearby... More

I took 21 of my culinary and hospitality students from Niagara ollege in Ontario to France in early May. We spent four nights at the chateau. Honestly one of the best experiences of the trip. Sofiya, our wonderful host, was there to meet us upon arrival. The house and property are beautiful, but for us the kitchen was perfect. We... More

The atmosphere surrounding this lovely chateau and garden tells you that you are going to have one of those 'different' experiences. Our young hostess was very welcoming and showed us the old stables where we could leave our bicycles and then we went up a flight of stairs past a stylishly laid out seating area to an enormous bedroom under... We stayed here as a very large group and had the Chateau and all its rooms to ourselves. The space easily accommodated everyone and Sophie (the host) was friendly, amenable and accessible. She even dropped off some of the vegetables from the garden for us to us. The Chateau had an interesting mix of classical furniture and modern amenities (most... More

We arrived late in the evening. The host Sophe was greeting us with passion about all the details of the chateau. Sophe is excellent in hosting us in the next two days. She is a bonus to the otherwise slightly not perfect furnishing in the room. The garden is really big and offers plenty of space for everyone to stroll... More

Our stay in this wonderful castle in June 2015 was a really positive experience! Cleanness and comfort of stylish rooms made us feel like lords! A very calm place in the middle of a typically authentic French village... Attentive, welcoming hosts helped us with tips to discover the beautiful Burgund region!

A working chateau with kitchen and wonderfully landscaped eight acres of garden just off the Burgundy Canal; quaint little village; wonderful hostess with great language skills and helpful advice on area activities. Even brought us tomatoes and berries from the garden for our evening meal (prepared in the kitchen). If you want to know what the feel of a manor... More
