We stayed for 3 nights using this as a base to explore the D-Day sites and Bayeux. Chateau has recently been renovated so everything is well presented and a huge spread at breakfast. We recommend that you book the table d'hôte at least one night. Vincent is a wonderful chef and you could not find better cuisine in the area.

Thank you Vincent and Corinne for the wonderful stay at your home. I can find nothing to fault. Make sure you eat at least one meal at Chateau Damigny. The food was the best we had, by far, throughout our holiday in france. Also, the wines were excellent and the canapés gorgeous. We had dinner on each of the three...

My wife and I and our two teenage kids (15 and 17) just stayed at the Chateau de Damigny for two nights. It was exactly what we were looking for. After four days racing around Paris and Versailles we were ready to relax and enjoy the sights in Normandy. We opted for the two suites on the second floor. Each...

We spent two nights here in October 2012 while visiting Normandy beaches and Bayeux. Location is great --easy access to the main road and only 5 minutes from Bayeux. We opted to book dinner both nights --and it was a real treat! Probably best food we had in 20 days in France (Paris to Loire Valley) All home cooked. Local...

We very much enjoyed our stay of four days in October, 2013 at Chateau de Damigny, a grand country house that dates from the 1600s. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfasts were outstanding, the best we had on our two week trip to Normandy and Brittany. The location is only about a 10 minute drive to Bayeux,...

In July of 2013, I booked two rooms at Chateau Damigny for a family trip to Normandy at the end of August 2014 (yes, over a year in advance). I knew that the World Equestrian Games were taking place in Normandy during our travel dates, so I made sure to make all of our arrangements very early. Corrine and Vincent...

Hello from Damigny,We fully understand your disappointment and you being upset especially when you planned your trip 1 year in advance; this is the first time that such a thing happens to us. As already mentioned in the email we sent you we tried as much as possible to help find other accommodations and also offered a free meal at...

This chateau is right outside the city of Bayeux, but you feel as if you are at a country chateau. There is still a historic fort on the grounds and the chateau is beautiful! We took the suite special and upon our arrival, Vincent had a silver tray with a bottle of champagne and fresh fruits from his garden awaiting...

I can only endorse all of the previous comments. We stayed at this fantastic chateau for 2 nights and it was truly luxurious - not in the sense of opulent surroundings, although they are very comfortable with ultra modern bathrooms, but in the sense of being so well looked after. Vincent and Corrine are excellent hosts who pay attention to...

Chateau de Damigny is a great B&B. Vincent and Corrine could not have been more helpful and warm in their welcome to their home. We were to arrive on Sunday evening by train and could not get rental car until Monday...so Vincent met us at the train station with his car. Rooms were very spacious and elegant. Breakfasts are very...

My wife and I stayed two nights here during our trip around France. It was absolutely excellent! The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. We had dinner one night at the Chateau and it was incredible! The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and very nice! Our only complaint was that Wifi was not working in the...
