We stayed at Villa Rioddi for two nights. As I write this we are finishing our second night. I can't say enough about this place! It is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. Our room is very spacious with lovely views up to the town of Volterra. The service is fantastic and...

Clean, large rooms, GREAT BREAKFAST!!!!- Outstanding local choices at breakfast. Grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We were looking for a place to drive to so we would not have to dive in the walls of Volterra. We had a great stay here- not too far from the city walls- we drove a few minutes then walked up the hill to...

This is a wonderful place to stay. The room is very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is excellent with several interesting items that are home made. We especially enjoyed the ambience - in a 15th century villa (although all the guest accommodations are very up to date) and a gorgeous view from the terrace in back

We loved our short stay (2nights) at Villa Rioddi! Very clean, great shower, and wonderful breakfast (many homemade breads, cakes, eggs, meats, fruit and much more) with a nice host. Recommend having a car. Beautiful countryside view.

Back in 2005, a colleague of mine recommended the old Etruscan town of Volterra as an ideal starting point to spend a holiday and to discover Tuscany. I searched the Internet and discovered Villa Rioddi. We gave it a try with a first week of holiday back in 2005. It was a perfect hit! Since then, we've been the guests...

Nice exterior and breakfast area. The breakfast served was also quite good. However, we found the rooms to be in need of an update: new mattress and bedspread required. The room looked like it belonged at a catholic covenant. The checkout procedure was also very long, as the host clicked through form after form. Ok place for the price

We only stayed one night but I would have been happy here for a week. Not really walking distance to town but plenty of available parking. View was great, room had fridge. We got rained out of the lovely pool but weren't unhappy because we ran right up onto the terrace off the bar and enjoyed a spritz (try it)...

We have stayed overnight for 1 night only during our wedding anniversary trip and... promissed ourselves to be back there for longer time once visiting Italy again. The Villa is located close to Volterra town, but far enough to provide visitors with silence. We have occupied second floor room with wonderful view towards the town, however, the Villa is located...
