Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

All the "essentials" one may expect from a Hotel are part of the Tuscia Hotel services, here generously made available at the best possible level. Extreme kindness of the super-efficient staff. Excellent price to quality ratio.

This is a clean and comfortable hotel. The service staff is absolutely polite and helpful. However, if you decide to work during your stay, this is not a good option. The internet connection is so weak and make it impossible to work.

The staff was very serviceminded and well informed. The breakfast buffet was typical Italian - but the staff would help to warm eggs. You are close to the center of the town and the hotel offers Parking.

We stayed here for one night at the end of a walking tour. Road works were going on outside during the day but the blockage meant there was no passing traffic at night. From here it is easy to walk down and into the old town for restaurants and tourists sights. The greeting at Reception was very friendly and helpful, an extra pillow was no problem, nor was a remote control for the air con. Everything was clean and functional. Breakfast is a bit basic but proper coffee to order is available on request. Recommended as a budget option in this charming town.

Tuscia hotel is really nice place to stay, just ask additionally for calm room. The location is very good. Near by few nice restaurants. Rooms are clean and nice. The staff is very polite, but they speak only in Italian. Wifi exist, but sometimes dissapear in the rooms. Breakfast continental.

It's clean, secure and cheap. It doesn't have any frills, breakfast is without tablecloths, waiters in waistcoats and prosecco, but for E58.00/night, who cares? The staff are lovely, the location is fabulous and breakfast and wi-fi were included. We'd stay again..

This is the only place to stay if you are visiting the old medieval center of Viterbo. It is a 15-minute walk from the Porta Fiorentina station and a 5-minute walk from the edge of the older section of town. The staff are friendly, courteous, and helpful. They arranged a taxi tour for us to Tuscania with an excellent driver, Enrico Carbone (listed in the phone book and on the web). The rooms are standard-issue Italian hotel rooms, though some are a little larger than the typical, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is not large, but if you are not too late you may get some excellent croissants and cold cuts.

Everyone was wonderful, the location was so easy to walk from and to. Typical cobbled mediaeval streets and lots of history to see. The hotel recommended an amazing local restaurant - and it was fantastic!! They also have their own parking-not bad at all for an ancient city !! The view from the upper deck was lovely and on those very hot days just a little breeze was just what we needed.

We spent two comfortable nights here. The rooms are adequate, the position is convenient and the air conditioning is the best we've experienced yet in Italy (thanks to the split system and remote we asked for and received). What is lost in luxury is made up for by the very friendly and welcoming couple on reception who I think may be the owners.

The hotel is located near the center of town. Viterbo is small, so you can easily walk to the old city from the hotel. Prices are decent and the beds are comfortable. The staff was kind. The internet is quite slow and the hot water is warm, not hot. Otherwise, it's a fairly decent hotel. It's basic and does what it's supposed to do for the price. There's a nice rooftop terrace which is nice for hanging out with friends in the evening.
