Villa Aurora is on the edge of the old town of Intra to the east of the main area of Verbania. It is a privately run Hotel, the owner spoke very good English and was most keen to ensure that we felt welcome and enjoyed our stay. The room was in keeping with the style of the Hotel, not modern,...

Wonderful, friendly, family owned/run hotel in an old historical villa. Very clean and well maintained. Very friendly and helpful owners. If you are passing through Lago Maggiore and need a good place to sleep over this is the place to be! We've been traveling around Switzerland and wanted to make a stopover at one of the lakes in Italy. We decided to sleep in Verbania and I found this lovely Hotel.
