We have just come back from a week in Varese. We chose the hotel Europa as they have some rooms equipped with a little kitchen. It was a special and important occasion for us. What to say: first, the location is unbeatable while you are right in te city center, with dozen of restaurants nearby. Parking is not an issue as the hotel has a closed parking. In terms of furnishing, services etc. It is a typical Italian 3 stars hotel. Somehow you can feel that the place has had a glorious past and feels now a bit decadent (green spaces not wow, some kitch decoration touches etc), a restaurant which is now a pub with a limited choice BUT what Makes the Europa special are the people working there: Alessandro, Roberto and Daniela in reception, the guy managing the pub / restaurant and of course the chambermaid Nicoletta: they really made us feeling and at home and they are the best reason to come back!

The hotel is in a great location however our room and the buffet breakfast was quite basic for its rating. The bathroom was annoyingly small, staff were never around and seemed put out when asked for assistance eg getting coffee or a drink in the bar. Overall quite disappointing.

We have stayed in this small hotel for many years now, the rooms are clean and functional, the staff very helpful and kind. The hotel is centrally situated a few minutes from the shopping areas and many restaurants and bars with its own private parking. The breakfasts are good and the lady serving/helping in the breakfast room, which is in the basement, is an absolute gem, charming and very helpful.

it is small and nice hotel. Employees are friendly Housekeeping is good, rooms are small. The hotel in the center of city. For this reason, you can travel the city more easily by walking. There are car park and free wifi. Breakfast room is the heater not working.Summer is not a problem but winter is a problem :) option of meal at breakfast is more less than turkish hotels. Every morning same, no change.

The hotel is clean and the employee are friendly. We visited the hotel mid of June with over 30 degres Celsius. NoGo was he wollblanket which was way to warm, for this season. Apart that as mentioned good price, clean, and centrally located . The breakfast was also good for a really cheap price. If you dont have special requiremts is absolutely to recommend.
