The B&B located on a beautiful quiet hill overlooking the city truly felt like an oasis surrounded by field and flowers. Our host Fabio was neatly dressed, quiet, open and precise. His warm presence combined with his own extensive travel make him the ideal host for travelers. He knows what a traveler needs and strives to provide it. For us...

We stayed for one night en route to the UK and as Fabio, Luigi and another of their friends were so hospitable we booked again for our return trip to our home in Marche Italy. The rooms were nicely decorated and filled with interesting collections from Fabio and Luigi's travels. Making their home as comfortable as possible and creating a...

Our family stayed at La Collina for a week in March 2013. We have fully enjoyed this week: the rooms were very clean, nice and cosy with everything necessary (even the cotton pads in the bathroom). When we arrived we were delighted to see fresh flowers in both rooms. Also there were beautiful paintings with flowers on the walls. Our...

Fabio speaks excellent English and his e-mailing response time is short. He is attentive without being intrusive and his recommendations re restaurants and travel were 'spot on'.Breakfast is fine/good and Italian(!). Parking is no problem. Whilst Varese itself may not be too appealing it is very convenient for Como and Milan. La Collina is on the very outskirts of town...

With regard to measures of beds (80 X 190 cm) ... they are actually a little small for "abundant" people ... knowing in advance the...
