Hotel is located in quiet environment facing the horse race track. Which explained why the hotel's major decoration theme is 'horses'. Room are very decent sized and as far as I know all of them do have a balcony (with an ashtray for the smokers). Hotel interior is very cozy and modern as well the rooms. Hotel has more than enough parking so parking your car is not a problem. The only down side is maybe the breakfast which is sufficient but nothing to write home about. Tip: ask for a room at the back side of the hotel in case you want a view on the mountains. Tip nr 2: when you book directly on their website do not forget to go for a room with breakfast included. Tip nr 3: if a good internet connection is important to you ask for a room at the start of the corridor or not further down than half the corridor

Breakfast was exzellent, knowing what means normally italian Breakfast. The food in the Restaurant was very good, the Service was in a rush, probably due to a bankett .

Everything is perfect at this place from the welcome at your arrival to the check-out. The breakfast is excellent with every thing you can think of. The room is quiet, clean and well decorated. In the eveving go to tha bar and one day, during your stay, try the restaurant ! Of course, the best is to have a car to visit this busy place (we went to Como). Last important point : there is a wide parking Highly recommanded place to stay

We came for a birthday party, which took place in one other hotel and were very thankful for the positive answer for our upgrade request. Clean. Reception team has to deal with few groups in a friendly but chaotic way, which was very time consuming. The day after we came too late for the breakfast and of course were ready to pay. The staff in the restaurant was very stressed and we have been told that there is no breakfast ( Sunday 10.55 am). After unpleasant discussion we have got over salted omelette and coffee and were forced to pay immediately while we were eating. The amount wasn’t correct but we had already enough of discussions and payed just to close the experience.

Dear Vera, thank you for the comment of your recent stay at UNAHOTELS Varese. I have taken good note that you pointed out some elements that you did not feel were up to our standards concerning our Breakfast service. I personally apology for the unpleasant behaviour of some members of the restaurant staff which is far away from our aim of offering always a good and professional service to our guests. Your comment is giving us the opportunity to continue to improve our services in order to make sure that your expectations are fully satisfied next time you will choose to stay with us. In the hope of welcome you again in our property for future visit to Varese Silvio Nolli Hotel Manager UNAHOTELS Varese

I have stayed here 3 times for business as my colleagues were there. Would I stay if I had a choice, NO. Hence I have started staying at Palace Grand Hotel Varese (Amazing). If you want to stay in a vanilla "Business" hotel then stay at Una Hotel. If you want to bake in your room overnight stay at Una Hotel. If you don't want a nice choice of food stay at Una Hotel If you want to wait up to 30 minutes for a drink stay at Una Hotel (even if there are no other guests waiting). Need I say more. It's so sterile, boring, offering nothing. Sorry on this hotel, the above is all I can say if I am honest. There are a lot better hotels in Varese where you get to experience Italy.

Booked a night while passing by the area with the family. Primarily based on price vs reviews and access to pool. Common areas are nice, used the pool table and bar. Rooms are nice, but beds are super hard. The bed linens were sub par normal hotel standard. The pool was cold, kids went in but I stayed out. If you like chocolate there is a Lindt factory outlet not far (by car) from the hotel.

The hotel is located a bit too far to comfortably walk and explore Varese, so I would recommend you stay here if you have a car. The hotel is very large and caters to events, conferences and budget tourists. Its good value for money but nothing spectacular. The rooms are small but functional, the wifi is weak but you can comnect via a cable from the room if needed. The food was OK but with a limited menu. You can order room service and breakfast is usually included and while not amazing its not too bad. The hotel has a tiny gym and tiny pool, both in clean and working condition. The front desk is friendly and responsive. If you want to stay in a cute Italian hotel close to town, this is not for you but if you want a clean, modern hotel while traveling with car this is a good option for you. The room service is available all night if you staying here on a stopover. I would not stay again but had nothing to complain about.

stayed there 13.05. - 15.05.19. My first visit was not "successful", but my second was and the third as well. Friendly welcome, friendly goodbye. I asked for a "brighter" room, with view to the racing track, after 1 minute I could receive the new keys (thank you again Mr Rafaele F.) You can sleep while windows are open, because it is very quit outside. The breakfast is ok, the coffee is amazing!!! I can recommend this hotel without any doubts!
