The staff is professional and efficient and make you feel at home in their hotel. The rooms are nicely appointed and modern and very comfortable. We had #7 and it was great. They provided a nice breakfast and also handled our bags and I had recent surgery and that helped me a lot (without asking!). Convenient location to the Corso de Ovido was a nice touch and close to main Piazza Some of the staff speak English and their security is good too. We stay here year after year.

The hotel is located right in the center of the city. It offers very confortable accomodation, newly renowed and furnished with style and with a welcome touch of art. Very good breackfast served in a cosy space. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly, full of good advice without being pushy. The price is more than justfied by the quality and for a little more you can stay in a Junior suite with private terrace. Definitly a must if you decide to spend the night in Sulmona.

This was my first time in Sulmona. Stella hotel is very good. Everybody is very polite. It is clean with a lot of space in the bedrooms, bathroom and bedrooms are new with a minimal style, I suppose renovated. Many comforts. The restaurant-cafe has very good service. Good coffee, good breakfast, good food. Definitely I will come back again.

This place was great. We stayed in the absolutely fabulous "room 7," which has already been described by a past reviewer (Hope006). I'll just add that the large, personal terrace with retractable sun shade was a really great feature. Roberto and Giuseppi were very friendly and helpful, and the location really couldn't be more convenient for walking around the city. Be sure to go out to the central square during the "passegiata" at around 7pm, when most of the town seems to come out to socialize. It's a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Room 7 is on the top floor, but it's worth the hike up the stairs if you can get it.
