We arrived on the ferry from Salina and La Sirenetta, (The Sirens) send a little cart to pick us up. There are really no cars nor roads to accommodate them on this historical gem of an Aeolian Island in the middle of the Tyrrhenian Sea. When we arrived at the hotel, the Jude Law lookalike at the desk, Diego, welcomed... More

The hotel gave a very warm welcome and also picked us up from port (otherwise a 15 minute walk). Our room was beautiful, overlooking the sea with private balcony and sunbeds. Diego was very helpful during our stay and also before we arrived answering emails and booking excursions for us. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea just tops it... More

I ended up staying here after the weather meant I didn't make it to Ginostre as planned, arrived at Stromboli and asked after water taxis and Marco, one of the directors, who was collecting people for here, helped me out of a total pickle. I've had a wonderful two days here, the hotel is gorgeous and the location is wonderful.... More

Even before we arrived at the hotel we were already impressed by the quality of their service. We had booked online a range of accommodation for our fortnight travelling around Sicily but we messed up the dates somehow and the day before we were due to take the hydrofoil to Stromboli we realised that we had booked the wrong two... This is my second stay in this utterly charming hotel. I look forward to my third next year, The staff are so helpful and create a perfect informal holiday atmosphere. Pick up from the port could not be more efficient. Thank you again, La Sirenetta!

I really enjoyed this hotel. It made me feel that I was on a 1930s European tour. The superior room is a must as it has magnificent views to the sea and beach, although there are a lot of steps to get up to it. I did hear complaints about other rooms – I think to do with music noise... More

I've stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is located in the best possible spot in Stromboli and eveything is at reach, which is essential since you're gonna have to do some walking on the island! The staff at the hotel is very professional, friendly and will make you feel well looked after. Some equipment could do with... More

Stromboli was a perfect get away for Ferragosto. Taxi service from the port was prompt. Staff was friendly and provided great service and information. Breakfast selection was small but adequate. Beautiful view of the sea. The grounds and gardens were perfect. Room was ready immediately and clean. Free WiFi Internet provided with a code for 8hrs at a time but... More

So our trip had started badly as we had come here after an incident at another hotel and the reception staff were just what we needed - lovely and calm and friendly. Room was nice enough - quite minimal but fridge, safe, etc. Excellent aircon for Italy. Beds are low and quite hard but that was OK for us. Bathroom... More

One of the oldest hotels on Stromboli it is in a superb location overlooking the sea front and out to Strombolicchio. There are several things that stood out for us about it. The welcome from the front desk and indeed all the staff was exceptionally warm. The dining area which is open to the sea front is very charming and... More
