The hotel is in beautiful setting and we had a very clean spacious room. we had some difficulty checking in, our Italian is not so good and neither is the hosts English. We were unfortunately disappointed to find the pool was not filled and the restaurant was not open. It is a shame that these things are not made clear...

Thank you for your review Kpezza 2016. We are happy you liked our big rooms and teh location of our country hotel. We are sorry for the pool (we have taken advantage of these day of bad and cold wheather to clean and change the water of the pool..now is all ok); the restaurant is usually open for dinner, probably...

An Oasis in nature just 5 minutes from the centre. Friendly staff and the bed was 10 times more comfortable than the 4 star hotel we stayed at in Tuscany. Breakfast was fresh and ample. Offer options for celiacs

Dear guests, thank you for your review. We are very proud you felt in a more confortbale accomodation than a 4 star hotel while we are only a country house, is a nice thing to known. Your precious words are really a good thing to hear for our job.

A beautifully rustic, former olive farm, with modern facilities, tucked away only a mile or so from Spoleto, and run by the Filippi family, fronted by Carlo and his son Matteo. Both father and son couldn't do enough to make our stay special, and to ensure we had all we needed. It was our second visit to Valle Rosa, and...

We chose Valle Rosa for it's location - used it as our base to explore Umbria for 3 days. This was an excellent choice! Location was perfect, could not have been better. Our room was spacious, modern, very clean and a pleasure to return to late at night after a full day of exploring the countryside. We had an amazing terrace...

We arrived for two nights after 4 in Rome and this was perfect for relaxing and recharging. It was raining very heavily on arrival and we had problems sorting buses and taxis. We rang Matteo the owner for advice and he came to collect us which was very much appreciated. We realised when we got to the complex we would...

We had a great time at Valle Rosa last summer. Quiet, nice, great food and many places to visit around. We would definitely go back. Within an hour you can visit Norcia, Montefalco, Perugia and definitely plan a day in Assissi.

This place is definitely not for non Italian speakers, those who expect a restaurant and bar, walking distance to Spoleto! It is 10 minutes by cab, was locked up when we arrived, the Owner/Manager has no English, the restaurant and bar has closed and without a vehicle it is too far from town to walk. The room was modern, air...

Thank very much sir. Al M for your review. We are afraid you not understood that our country hotel is very very close to Spoleto but that you need car because the way of link is a main road; our activity is immersed in a green hill and we have a fascinating swimming pool; every our room has shower and...

..is not what you'll find, if you assume it will fit this description and you are from the UK. That is probably the only disappointment of the Valle Rosa if this is what you are seeking. Instead you will find a long low old building which houses the function rooms (there was a large wedding party there during our stay)...

The Valle Rosa is a country house with a lovely swimming pool, ( not shown on the English web page) just south of Spoleto, Umbria. It has new double rooms, some with fridges with on-suite bathrooms. A great location with super views across the valley from all areas including the pool. There are three bedroom villas finished containing about six...
