We stayed for a week of skiing and were pleasantly surprised that despite a lack of snowfall, all ski runs were opened and well maintained; the hotel is very conveniently located for access to the main gondola and provides a well equipped ski room; all hotel facilities were in very good condition, we especially loved the spa; the breakfast buffet...

We were fortunate to be directed to the St. Veit by friends familiar with the area. Very clean and modern hotel with a fantastic view of La Croda Rosa and other peaks. English-speaking staff was very friendly and informative about local hiking options. The hotel had mountain bikes for loan - you can take them up the adjacent Mt. Elmo...

Great stay at a wonderful hotel with lovely, helpful and smiling staff and superb food. Perfect location for the many, varied & superb cross country skiing trails (buses and trains are free when you stay here throughout the South Tyrol region via a 'Holiday Card'). No need to bring/hire a car!!! Easy train journey from several airports (we flew in...

Great hotel, run by very friendly family. Fantastic food. In many details and in their warm hospitality, the family Karadar makes the difference between their hotel and other 4-star-hotels Highly recommended !

The hotel is a modern, well maintained building, low on the hill overlooking Sexten. The staff are excellent: in particular, I'd single out for praise the two exceptionally courteous and well dressed young men, one of whom regularly manned reception while the other waited in the restaurant. The real highlight was the dinner menu, though: every night it was superlative...

We came across this hotel by chance and we feel lucky that we did. This family owned and operated hotel has a lot to offer. The rooms are spacey, tidy and quiet and in our case the rooms overlooked the village of Sesto. There is a nice balcony for every room, so if the weather permits, you can sit outside...

It's rare to find a 4-star hotel that is family-run and the combination of luxury and friendliness was fantastic for us. Our room (a "Swallow's Nest" suite) was incredibly comfortable, with lots of wood furnishings in keeping with the Alpine surroundings. The bathroom was beautiful and the view from the balcony was stunning. There was even a separate room for...

We stayed at the St Veit for the first - but surely not the last - time when on a three week roadtrip in Austria and northern Italy. We had booked a week in Sexten, and the stay exceeded all our expectations. We were overwhelmed with the high level of quality and service. The staff is extremely friendly and the...

The Hotel and Staff is absolutely wonderful. The Wellness Center is small and very relaxing. All details are well thought-out. The staff is very friendly, location is a dream with lots of hiking and biking possibilities. The food was absolutely high class, healthy and never got boring. Always had the choice of lactose and gluten free options. We will go...
