Four nights at the Portillo 1966 in Selva, IT. Wonderful, warm yet modern hotel. We had a spacious suite with two exterior seating areas. The views were stupendous. However, the heart and soul of this place is the management. Oliver and Natalie are wonderful, caring hosts. They attend to your every need. My wife and I both had nasty colds...

Having travelled extensively and stayed in a whole range of large faceless hotels through to bed and breakfast, it is very rare to find a hotel that offers fantastic friendly service, wonderful amenities and in such an amazingly beautiful place; the Hotel Portillo has it all. The care and attention to detail that the family have put into the hotel...

One of our all time favourite hotel stays to date! The front of house service and room cleaning was faultless during our stay - friendly, helpful and went above and beyond whenever possible. Our room was in the chalet, which was conveniently in the same block as the pool, sauna and steam room area (there are two separate spa areas)...

We have stayed in this wonderful hotel for the last 10 years on our annual ski trip and with the recent renovations it is even more fabulous. The welcome you receive from the owner family is so warm and genuine; The staff and service could not be friendlier with nothing being too much trouble . It goes without saying that...

One week trip for five couples. The hotel is modern, clean, well appointed, and in a reasonably good location for skiing, although the ski in - ski out feature is overstated. Relying on the hotel shuttles is fine in the morning, only if you are heading into Selva, but restricted to 1 pickup point in mid-Selva for the afternoon at...

We stayed at the Portillo for two nights. The hotel is very modern and built up with high quality products. The hotel is located a little bit out of town. The free bus shuttle brings you every morning to the ski lifts. We did not have dinner at the restaurant, but the menu looked very nice. I can highly recommend...

We stayed in this fabulous hotel for 3 nights in the end of august. And what a wonderful decision it came out to be. It is a 4 star hotel but amenities and facilities wise it should be rated as 5 star. The staff is amazing. Always welcoming and ready to help. Got to enjoy free sunday drinks and snacks(courtesy...

First visit to this hotel and very impressed, great location just a 2 minute walk to the main square, so nice and quiet at night. Hotel has undergone a revamp, the lobby, bar area is lovely, plenty of free car parking. Its a family run hotel, very welcoming and they take a great pride in ensuring the hotel looks its...

This family run hotel has now the set the standard for my future hotel experiences,in terms of customer service, quality, value for money and all round customer experience. I stayed with 4 friends (3 adults and a child.) for a week of skiing in March. Throughout our stay we continuously remarked at how wonderfully accommodating the entire staff & family...

“We stayed in the classic rooms, apparently these rooms have yet to be renovated (I was informed that there are plans to complete the renovations this year.), but honestly it was so well maintained you couldn't detect that it requires a face lift. But there are more modern rooms so asked about these during the time of booking if you want his option.”

“Room 66 (junior suite) is excellent quality and size for a skiing resort. The mountain view is breath-taking. Guests (especially children) using the outdoor jackuzzi may get a bit noisy, but this is only couple hours a day in the late afternoon.”
