Right in the centre of town but not too noisy. 50m walk to nearest lift, 50m walk back from nearest main piste. Really good sized spacious rooms, only thing to mention is that rooms at the back can look directly out onto ski lift departure point. By this I mean you can hold a normal conversation with someone in the...

Much is made of this hotel's great location - virtually ideal for skiers in Selva - but has so much more to offer. The public spaces, especially the bar and lobby areas are stunning, as is the marvelously atmospheric and well appointed spa. The dedicated lift from the ski locker room is a lovely and unexpected touch. The staff are...

Great people great location great accommodation .... fabulous. Rooms were great - some were over looking the chair lift but given you spent the day out skiing this was no problem at all. Location for both the skiing and the village great. Food amazing and service to match. Spa fantastic - great place to relax after a tough day on...

The location of this hotel is a double edged sword. For skiing it is only one of a handful of hotels actually on the Sella Rhonda circuit with less than a 50m walk from one way and a lift out the back. Our room overlooked the lift and we enjoyed watching it being opened and closed every day, but for...

We are a couple in our fifties; we have been skiing in Europe for over 20 years and thought this was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Firstly, the position was great for intermediate skiers like us: only a couple of minutes away from either the Costabella chair or Champinoi gondola both in the morning and...

Our family has spent winter holiday in Val Gardena region 7 times and 2 of them we stayed in Stella hotel. The hotel has 3 stars but I have stayed at 5-star hotels that provided less comfort. Specially good is their relaxation centre. But the best of all - location next to the ski lifts. Strongly recommended!

Just come back from another wonderful week at the Stella at New Year. The staff are absolutely wonderful and really treat you with 5 star hospitality. Nothing is too much trouble!! The thing I love about this hotel is the location. It is right next to the Costabella ski lift and within minutes you have access to the Sella Ronda...

A perfect place to stay for a week's skiing, a few steps from both main lifts and all the main bars for apres ski . Food was very good and enjoyed especially the Tyrolean evening and the chance to savour all the local specialities. There was also a wonderful spa to relax in after a day on the slopes. The...

On arrival we were impressed by the newly renovated lobby and bar. However we were given a room which looked straight into the chairlift at the back of the hotel. In fact if you had stood on our balcony you could have touched the people getting on the chair! We had to keep the curtains closed as they could see...

Just come back from staying another wonderful week at the Stella. We visited 2 years ago and loved it then but it has now been completely revamped and looks even better. They have a new spa with all the mod cons, only thing missing is a pool but apart from that, who needs it!! The staff there are fantastic and...
