A very special place. Elegant, yet casual. From checkin to checkout, simply amazing service, quality and a truly lovely experience. Loved the front desk at check in and the bar tender, piano player and ambience, did I mention our room, extra ordinary!! Love love love!!!

Fine old hotel catering to a well-heeled clientele with generous rooms, fine dining and a beautiful waterfront scenery. You may be a bit perplexed by the kitschy 1960s signage as you arrive, but they've obviously been left there on purpose. As soon as you pull up to the porte cochere, you'll realize that you're in a luxury hotel with first-class...

One could not ask for a better view, prettier grounds or friendlier staff. The pools are stellar. The actual rooms, while comfortable, are clearly dated. (In ours, wallpaper was peeling in several areas, painted trim poorly done, etc.). The buffet breakfast was very good. As long as you plan to minimize your time in the room, you will be satisfied.

A classic old hotel that has been kept up. the location is very good, my room had a view of the Mediterranean Sea and the hotel garden. The garden had a pool, but as we were there in March, the pool season had not started, but there were flowers everywhere. The room was large, nice bathroom, very good breakfast, courteous...

I have stayed in Royal Sanremo 4 times in last 8 years, last trip was 5 nights. This place is the best deal in the Italian and French Riviera region on the sea, with 5star hotel, massive pool, and right on the seaside. For example, the minimum room is 180-250 EUR in summer here, versus 750-1000 EUR in Cap Ferrat....

A touch of belle epoque, you are enveloped in old-world service. You won’t find exciting cuisine, but the chef will make anything you have a yearning for (and the dining room art-deco Murano glass is world class). The rooms are oldish (penthouse floor sublime) but have everything you need. Access to the sea is cumbersome, but the saltwater pool is...

Stayed at this hotel for three nights in October. The service was splendid, the breakfast buffet was the best we had in 14 days. The two restaurants in the hotel are good, but pricey. The Concierge made several phone calls for us for reservations. It was in an excellent location and I could walk to town within a few minutes...

It's a fantastic hotel where they really have successfully manage to preserve the old hotel traditions, it's magnificent for the eye, for the heart and every little detail is top notch. The staff - is amazing, the atmosphere is just as you imagine it to be and better. Sadly we noticed to late, that they have a guide Michelin award....
