#8 of 48 hotels in Salsomaggiore Terme
Antica Torre is a biological farm holidays in a tiny middle of age village, once well connected to Parma and Piacenza castles. Among the green hills surrounded by nature and an absolute stillness, the town of Salsomaggiore and the food valley dominate the all landscape situated between Tuscany and Lombardy located near Ligurian See.Visiting these places means enjoy an historical and artistic culture made of typical food products such as “Culatello”, Parma Ham, Parmesan Cheese and many others that are the main symbols of Emilia Romagna’s food tradition listening the notes of Giuseppe Verdi’s Opera. The complex offers different types of fully furniture lodgings, both following a similar rustic theme. We have thought to call our rooms inside the Medieval tower and in the rustic buildings, with the names of maestro Giuseppe Verdi's Operas, like Traviata, Rigoletto, Nabucco etc.. For families or group of friends we offer large and confortable solutions. Our many rooms (dining room, living rooms and bedrooms) ensure privacy and relaxation, and the close relationship with the family make satisfaction almost guaranteed. An added bonus is the proximity of Salsomaggiore Terme City, with its renowned thermal springs. Guests are free to indulge, dedicating yourself to health and wellbeing.

We only stayed one night but enjoyed it very much. The room was great, the place was very nice. For dinner, local dishes cooked by the mother and we really liked it. I can absolutely recommend the Antica Torre especially of her guest friendliness

What a wonderful place, a little off the beaten track but well worth the effort to find. The rooms and bathrooms are very traditional with some lovely old Italian furniture and all spotlessly clean. The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts (big hotels could certainly learn a thing or two about hospitality from the owners) I will certainly be back.....

We loved staying here. Daniela and Emanuele were wonderful and charming hosts. The place is lovely and so relaxing. Our accommodations were great. And the food was absolutely amazing. Emanuele’s mother is the cook and we had a fabulous dinner with tons and tons of food and a lovely breakfast the next day. Highly recommend!!!

We visited as a group of eight for a friend's birthday. Manuella and Daniella were fabulous hosts, always smiling and they tried to make our time there enjoyable in anyway they could. The food, cooked by Nona, was made with much of their own farm produce or locally sourced ingredients and was excellent. A great place to stay, run by lovely people

A wonderful location full with history at a operational farm including besides the farmhouse and barns also an old watch/guard tower. If you are tall better ask for a room not in the tower because even small people bump their heads against the ceiling beams. If you do not mind being careful the rooms are worth it. Best in summer time not to take the top floor as it is more warm. The food is modest, which is fine but for the price not good enough. With children this will probably still what you may want to do. Still it is a pity and can easily be avoided. In case you want to try elsewhere there are within a few minutes drive some very good alternatives.
